I know I said no more online poker, but I really have the itch to play. Any one here playing the micros?

I played on here for a while at the micros. I found the micros here to be very tough compared to other sites like betonline and ignition

I play at America’s Cardroom. I can’t compare to it anything else presently, but seems a little tougher than what I was used to years ago.

I would agree its probably tougher games than Ignition, I played a little on BetOnline too would agree but had a small sample. I played anywhere from the .01/.02 to .10/.25 PLO on each.

Only pro to ACR is rakeback and you can use any HUD.

Negative is that ACR was allowing bots in their games. After ChicagoJoey made the YouTube investigation about bots, I had even gotten an unfair player refund. And I was only playing microstakes PLO. Not sure if they are better now but I think I'd rather play elsewhere before depositing again.

Would be curious to see how your adventures go. Im currently trying to run up a roll on Ignition but gaining no traction.

Currently playing 0.02/0.05 and ran up my stack to almost 400BB but then lost 2 flips. Table i’m at is super soft and i’ve picked off quite a few bluffs already. Still on my first buy in with about 50BB so we’llsee How things go

Hoping for continued Turkey Day run good :)

If the online poker programs can't stop bots, that's a - I'm out on online poker for sure.

I have a buddy that is more interested in the state approving online poker than allowing casinos. I feel the opposite, for the reason above.

He doesn’t want the state regulated rooms like NV, NJ, etc?

I’ve been on WSOP NV for the last week and it’s great besides lower traffic on the PLO games. Free to deposit and withdrawal whenever.

I don’t remember if the servers are pooled with the other states yet but supposedly they will be if not already. The more states in the better.

I don't think he is concerned about the "regulation" aspect. He is more interested in playing at home rather than playing in a local casino.

Are you saying that regulated rooms in NV and NJ guarantee there are no bots?

I’ve never really looked into it. I guess I’ve just been blindly assuming that WSOP NV would have a legitimate security team. Also if something fraudulent happened someone would be legally liable as opposed to offshore online poker rooms.
