Here are all my playable sets. I’ve only been at this for a year and a half, so, so far, so good. But man, it can’t even be called a collection, compared to some of the collections I see posted here.
My preferred stakes are .25/.50 in big bet games, and more often than not, it’s around 6-handed. So some of these sets that look small are actually playable for my games.
Sad thing is, I’ve only been a guest host, at some buddy’s games. But the goal for 2018 is to get to hosting a regular game and the occasional tournament.
In their cases (I’m case guy - hate all the acrylic of racks and cages)
Out of their cases (sadly not even close to filling a table)
My main cash set. Mixed casino, all old, leaded Paulsons. This will cover a full table from .25/.50 up to $1/2 with a bank of almost $4500.
My only tournament set. I started out wanting to be able to handle an 8 person tournament. I loved these BCC’s so much I kept buying them. At this point if I go with 8/8 stacks, it can handle 24 players with 18k stacks, I think. (The biggest tournament I’ve run so far was is 7 players )
This is the one I’ve worked the hardest on, putting it together mostly from singles. I’m up to 102 ones, 114 fives I think, 21 twenty-fives, 3 hundreds and a five hundred that’s just for show. For quarters, I only have 9 Biloxi quarters so far and use starbursts to fill it out. It’s a labor of love and a work in progress. Small set, but works great up to five-handed, which sadly would cover a decent percentage of my games.
The Grand Casino Gulfport:
Paulson fan of cards are the first Paulsons I bought from this site. I use them to play with the kids, but if I add on some more quarters and dollars, maybe I can try hosting a micro-stakes learn to play circus games kind of night:
Mixed casino chipco set.
For no particular reason, I grabbed a couple racks of those mint ones when they were getting blown out. So I got to work building this set. It’s really not done, because the $5’s, $25’s, and $100’s are all from the Silver Dollar. That breaks my rules for a mixed set, but I’ll work that out eventually.
And my latest project, an all Nevada THC OFCP and/or heads-up set. I play OFCP for a quarter a point, but playing with just one denom is boring. Yeah, there’s a couple hundreds in there. Ha! I love chips.
