It doesn't make sense to ban someone who's shipping out packages, period. It's a free market community. You can buy and sell as we please. Feedback and public knowledge can assist to see if you want to make a deal with someone, but if we start banning people over opinion, alot of us are getting banned over the course of years of bickering.

It's like Yelp. If they are a bad seller, they won't get any sales. It gets known. But if you start taking the idea of "BaN ThEm!" when anything goes wrong, it's gonna start a snowball going down the hill that'll end this place. At that point, we should just shut down the classifieds.

We probably wouldn’t know if it happened, but I’m only aware of temp bans. But you could imagine a system where you get a temp ban for the first offense and then perma banned if it repeats.

So what this really means is that when we got word he had mailed out several people’s orders a few weeks ago that he also lied about that and only mailed them out this Monday.

Also, my solution would be a 3 month temp ban from the classifieds section overall, still allowing access to the rest of the forum. At the end of the 3 months if hes still interested in the forum, he can return to normal status with a asterisk of some type next to his name to let people know that there is poor sales feedback/flaky sales history
