Let see some of those Ace's chips!

The first member to post up (in this thread) some Aces PrOn when they get their chips will win a set of Desjgn Classic Victorian Cards with FREE shipping to US and CANADA.

What is the minimum about of chips do you think the winning posted photo should have in it?

1100! (That's how many I ordered lol) :D

In all seriousness though I would say probably at least 400+. You really can't have much of a decent set without at least a few hundred chips. If you're like me which I know you are more is always better when it comes to chips :)

I was thinking 300 myself so we are not that far apart. Let see what others have to say. ;)

LOL - That's Awesome!

You won the cards...I'll include them with the chips.
Did you pick them up or got them the next day since you're in the same state at Jim?

LOL… Thanks for the cards… They will be put in rotation as soon as I get them… Love the Desjgns...

I bought the chips yesterday during the sale and Jim was kind enough (and he AWAYS is) to let me pick them up in person. Chips are great! The $2s are, as Jim said, almost all new. The $25s are also pretty new but you can clearly see they has seen 'some' felt… The $1s are used but in very good shape.

I went for a limit set since I am a sucker for light blue chips and couldn't pass on them. Wanted a bunch of 'em!

Thanks Tommy!

I like the blue. I would of bought a bunch of them for a re-lable project if they didn't have a giant inlay. I'm assuming you play 2/4 with all them $2's?

Yeah, no relabeling with giant inlays… I would have re-labeled them also and make them my workhorse for a cash set… I don't play limit too much but when I do, it's either 2/4 or 4/8… Now I have one more excuse (maybe an additional bi-weekly night) to play limit… I would have preferred to have all $1s but HAD to go for the blue $2s… :)

Nice win. That was fast. I was expecting to see some pics sometime next week.

Darn, I ordered them thursday so I was hoping I'd win this one Lol

That's me, sad cheese :(.

To ease my pain I did stop by Walgreens today and get 4 sets of Bicycle Prestige decks for 10.60 :)

Yeah, Jim was kind enough to let me stop by to get them in person after I purchased them during the BFS. Waaaaay too many trips to the old ChipRoom but this was my first visit to the new warehouse. Great facility just a few miles away from the old one. Jim was as gracious as always. I feel very lucky to have someone like Jim being the main 'enabler' of our addiction… My money is with the right and deserving person...

If my shipment isn't delayed due to weather I should have 1100 I can splash pot pron with tomorrow evening. Hoping the 5's are in good shape because I love the colors on it.

Aces's already made it into the calendar.

Should I?.......................................

Lol I wasn't thinking of putting mine in the calender, just that this is a Aces Pron thread or at least it's supposed to be :p. More like a Cheese Pron thread lol

Ahhhh. OK. No sad cheese for you then.

thanks for the pictures, it looks like there is a magic light circle on inlays, very nice.

For this pron thread I believe this is the first picture of all denominations (just pretend the .50 doesn't exist ;)).

What do I win??? lol

LOL. They look better to me in that pic. Must be the lighting or something. :)

First impressions are that I wish I had about 500 more $100's. I love them! Of the 2's, 3's, 25's, and 100's from this first shipment looks to be about half of them are new. The 1's show the most wear and the 5's show some wear too but neither is that bad. None of the chips are anywhere near as dirty as the Oak Tree 1's and 5's so it should be a quick clean job on the Aces 1's and 5's.

50 chips in... 1250 more to go. Those ship out tomorrow but at least I have my sampler platter until the main course arrives :).

These definitely have some nicer colors to them compared the the Oaks IMO. The Oaks made me think of poker on a rainy day. :) There is just something about the edge spots on Ace's $25 chip that keeps making it stand out to me.

Agreed, I love the red, white, and blue against the contrast of the green. Even the 1's with their red and blue edge spots I've got a soft spot for. Top 3 would probably be the 100's, 25's, and 5's but honestly I like them all. The orange really pops and the light blue of the 2's is pretty. I'd be a terrible judge... "and the winner is... ALL OF YOU!" lol

I wasn't in love with the OT 1's or 25's but I did love the 5's, 100's and 500's. With these Aces I don't think I can pick a favorite, they are all great for their various reasons!

I have never been a huge fan of the giant inlay but the Aces are making me rethink that, the more I look at them, the more I like them. The edge spots certainly don't hurt

I wasn't a huge fan of the grand inlays either until I got these in my little chip hungry hands.
