For your consideration, we have several Abbiati sample sets for sale. These are from the original PCF group buy organized by @Tommy . Since he is in the early stages of organizing another GB for the same chips with the same design, here is your chance to get yourself some of the actual chips in hand so you can make an informed decision whether you would like to participate.
A bit of background: these chips are European-manufactured plastic chips, considered among the high end of the "Big Four" plastic casino chip manufacturers that are still producing for the commercial (and sometimes retail) market - Abbiati, Matsui, Bourgogne et Grasset, and Bud Jones. They have a metal slug inside and weigh about 11.5g each. Their plastic has a softer, slightly rubbery feel that gives them better play characteristics than most other plastic chips from a stackability POV.
Each sample set will consist of the following 20 chips, and cost $45 for the set (7 available):
5x Crown Plaza cash sample set ($0.25, $1, $5, $20, and $100)
5x Crown Plaza tournament sample set (T25, T100, T500, T1000, T5000)
5x Park Place cash sample set ($0.25, $1, $5, $20, and $100)
5x Park Place tournament sample set (T25, T100, T500, T1000, T5000)
There are 2 sample sets which are missing chips, for a reduced price:
One sample set is missing a Park Place cash $20 chip, $42 for this set of 19 chips
One sample set is missing a Park Place cash $20 chip and $100 chip, $39 for this set of 18 chips
You may purchase more than 1 sample set if you wish. I am not splitting up the sample sets smaller than listed above - purchase all denoms and series available or purchase none.
Buyer pays shipping, at cost, which will be in an appropriately sized padded mailer. I will ship anywhere in the world the Canada Post services.
I accept PPFF in USD (+4% for PPGS, which is recommended by Tommy), or equivalent in Wise transfer or direct e-transfer from a Canadian bank. I may be able to accept crypto via Coinbase, but this is not my preferred means of transaction for relatively small amounts of money.
