A Question for Those With Good Imaginations (1 Viewer)

Schoolmarm
The old gun fighter who quit, now raises sheep with his son. Wife died of (pick a disease). He is forced to pick up the gun again
when an old rival shows up looking to settle a score.
This should be a movie. Probably could be one if the best westerns of all time. :D

I love what you have there. Any chance for sample sets? (y)

Some arrangement will be made for samples. However, it may be a while. Haven't even started serious work on the inlays yet. The current inlays are just rough ideas I threw together.

I thought those were nearly done inlays when I suggested adding the character name to them.

Each chip should have a face of the character it represents... WANTED poster style...

I gave some thought to going that direction with something like this..

I decided to take the approach of designing a set set as if it was being made for an actual business.

For being just thrown together the rough draft inlays are sweet! Maybe consider using the rough draft inlay on one side and the character inlay on the other side?

Excellent work, crussader!
I would keep both silver and blue - the silver eagle flying in blue skies is in the title too!
There is a color overlap between cowboy and sheriff: My 2 cents would be to scrap the brown one, and keep the "sheriff" chip, representing all of the cultural pool of the era, from which cowboys, outlaws and sheriffs alike, came anyway. Law and Government can be considered to be represented anyway by the blue.
The saloon girl red is the quintessence of sweetness!

Beautiful chips, well executed and they compliment each other perfectly.

ETA: the last three chips in the pic above don't suit the rest as well as the others do.
