Best I can tell from some research is ceramic. Great for an over label project, $600+ for the chips and another $400 for labels…love the bright colors and and the embossing.

Nope, these aren't ceramic. Plastic molded. Had a tourney set a while ago. Nice feel and vibrant colors.

Definitely not ceramic. 100%.
Composite clay? Probably.
I've handled in the past some china clay and I can guarantee this is not made of the same material.
When new, you can feel some chalk around the Juego chips.
My guess is they're a non-premium clay chips, where the percentage of "cheap" ingredients is higher than in real clay (Paulson and CPC).
