I didn't know these existed, so sorry, lot's of questions.

Are these clay, ceramic, or plastic?
Who was the manufacturer?
What's the story behind them, was this a large group buy, or a one-off custom set?
Can you post close up photos of the faces?

They're clays on the lammer (plain with recess) mold made by GPI under their Gemaco line using BCC colors They have oversized inlays which make them look a bit like ceramics combined with the plain mold. This was a large group buy by Tommy in 2018 when GPI was still offering these promotional chips. They're the same line as GPI Elite or GPI Monaco sets by Apache.
 
They are outstanding chips. I want to add a tournament set of these one day. Great feel. Really great colors. It's not technically correct to say 50 cent Paulson's, but close.
 
I have the elites! Im considering putting those in the classifieds to get these.
