Custom cash setup of Sun Fly Hybrids

800 pc Mountain Top Casino Set. This was part of the 2018 group buy. Here is the link to the original buy:
https://www.pokerchipforum.com/thre...-casino-43mm-sun-fly-hybrids-group-buy.29829/

These are some of my favorite chips! 44mm chips with great weight and feel. They stack so solid That I stacked 300 high on my kitchen floor! They have only been used a couple of times in a single table cash game.

Breakdown is as follows
150- $0.25
300- $1s
200- $5s
100- $20s
50- $100s

2 60mm dealer buttons are also included.
Asking less than what I paid: $550 $525 $500

I had never handled these Sunflys until @HMK hooked me up with a sample set of his gorgeous chips. These are on another level from China clays at less than the price of Royals if I’m not mistaken. They stack and handle wonderfully.

Very interesting. The quarter is actually relabeled from the tournament set, and the others all have values different from the standard cash offerings.

Did you customize these through the group buy, or do them later yourself?

Another great thing about these is that the labels are easy to replace for custom labels... the chips have a 25mm diameter recess perfect for a label design of your choice.

Anyone... 43mm sunflys?
For the new Signups (Not like I am an old veteran lol) this is a really solid set.

The breakdown is fantastic, a Bank total of over $8000 has got to be covering like 80%+ of games out there, right? T

he chips are really nice. Have a set from a different GB (Prestige) but same chip, and I know initially there was a Mountain Top set I passed on, and regretted prior to acquiring the Prestige. Our players love these chips, and they are an appreciable, and immediate upgrade to dice chips, and think many would prefer these over CC. We also have players that prefer these to Paulsons at our game, likely due to the 43mm size.

Welcome to the forum! To answer your question, yes... typical chips are 39mm. 43mm chips are often used as higher denomination chips ($1K, $5K etc) in some sets (Jacks, Horseshoes)... there are also different materials that chips are made out of. Some examples:
Clay (Paulsons, CPC and TRK)
Ceramic (Sunfly, Chipco etc)
China clay- more plasticy- (Majestic, Milano)
Plastics (bud Jones, Matsui)
Slugged plastics (most chips sold online - plastic with a metal insert)

The unique thing about these ceramics is that they are the larger size (43mm), they have a recess for a label (so you could easily replace the Mountian top label with a custom design) - Most ceramics have printing directly on the surface. They are a great weight, wear well and look awesome. If you have any more questions feel free to send me a direct message!

These are great chips. Nice colors and feel great when shuffling. I have a set and my group loves them.

Im interested in these.
I guess these qualify as an 800 piece ‘Sample Set’ :D
Since you’re new, welcome to the forum and I would highly recommend getting Samples before making large purchases. But these are great chips, I have a tourney set of the “Burros” (same SunFly 43mm) and they are quite nice.
Good luck on your chipping path

I have a sample set of a ceramic mix. Tiki, Tropic Oasis, Horseshoe series and more but I like these best. Would you say the Sun Fly is an upgrade?

Interested in the $100s if s

I’m going to purchase a sample set this weekend. I’ll hit you up after I receive them, Thansk for all the information.

I'm currently sitting on samples too! I don't mind the feel and look of these chips..

Just out of the buying game for now. Will live vicariously through my samples. Newbies should absolutely be considering these.

No color fading on these... they are nearly new condition... stored in closed cases and have only been played at night... pics are with my phone and didn’t come out great. Maybe over exposed? I can try to get some better ones...

How easy is it to get the label out if you would want to relabel the chips?
