Not a ridiculous deal ($5s are sweet though), but wanted to alert folks they were out there.

I have friends who would pick them up for me in NW Indiana. That price is near market rate anyway for overstamped worn dirty kinda ugly Paulsons with a bad distribution.

If anyone ends up with these, I'd be interested in the two barrels of Argosy $1s.

Just heard back. Not willing to ship...local cash transaction only. Hurry, someone swoop in and offer 3x his asking price

Looks like 600 Paulsons, 500 are fives. Much more than $200 it's probably not worth your drive.

It is hard to see in the picture, but the $5 chip that seller has chosen to reveal has a starburst weakly hotstamped to it. I would guess that both sides of all the clays have that without information to the contrary.

I see. Didn't know that was a thing.

My guess is that all the chips have the same starburst stamped on it as you can see better in the other pics. The gold can be removed but it is labourious so I doubt they have been removed from all the fives. Also even if it is removed the hot stamping is permanently marked into the lamination on the inlay. For me, even after removing the gold it ruins the look and the feel of a chip. IMHO It is marginally acceptable on mint chips but since these are used it lowers the value even further.
