Has anyone here built or purchased a 60” round table with removable dinner top, cup holders in the rail without a race track? I'm planning to place a table like this in a multi-purpose room, so I'm also interested in a removable dinner top for the table. I would greatly appreciate any feedback or photos of similar projects. Thank you!

Or maybe of the other route and build a custom poker topper that fits on the table?

I have an order in for that type of table as we speak. The build should start soon and will be done in 4-5 weeks. Going with 3/4” raised rail with lights as well. I will post photos once it is delivered.

I think this poker table was 56" with a 60" dining table cover, but not much different between 56" and 60" other than you can't build the dining table cover out of plywood since plywood doesn't come in single piece sizes larger than 5' wide, unless you're ok with a seam. This table's cover is solid white oak.

Not a bad idea, but then you have to store a very large awkward poker topper throughout the year. With a dinner topper, you are only taking it off to play poker which for me is about 12 to 18 times per year.

60” round table with a table topper. It is a 2 piece top. It is big and heavy, I can take it on/off by myself if I have to, but it isn’t easy. I couldn’t image trying to do a 1 piece to alone!
