My next project is to turn this 60” folding cafeteria style table into a poker table.

Build pics to follow.

My first step was to make a circle cutting jig long enough to cut the rail sections.
I'm going to make the rails in 90° sections and join 2 together for each side of the table.
I'll make one pc using the jig and use that pc as a template for the rest.

Here's some pics of the jig

Excited to see the progress.

Note: Those feet look like they could create legroom issues. Maybe if you’re adding an overhanging rail they’ll be far enough in not to be a problem.

Finally had some nice weather today and was able to cut the rails.
I laid out the 90° section and used my homemade circle cutting jig to router the 30" outside radius rail x 5.25" wide template then
cut the ends using a Kreg Accu-Cut track system.

The template was used to mark 4 more rail sections on the plywood and I rough cut them with a jig saw.

Screwed the template to the rough cut blanks and used an end bearing flush trim router bit to finish the rail profile.

Jointed 2 rail sections for each side of the table using a biscuit and 4 pocket screws, 2 on the top and 2 on the bottom

I rounded over the edges and drilled the hole pattern for the Tee Nuts but didn't take a pic.
All the wood working is done and ready for upholstery.

I made a templet from hardboard for the size of the headliner foam for the playing surface.
Used 3M spray adhesive to hold the foam and outdoor material in place.
I did not staple the black material in place, looks like the adhesive is working good enough to keep it in place.
The rail sections are ready for foam and vinyl.
I'm very happy with how the seam looks and how it looks when folded.
Triton table topper fits nicely and has a great feel to it.
