This set is only worth about $1,400-$1,600 depending on the condition... and by the looks of the pictures I'd tend toward the lower of that range. Don't expect to get ebay prices here... everyone here knows what things are worth and there is established precedent for the value of nearly any chip type out there.

Thank you!

I think you’re right on the pricing but this is probably better served as a PM. We generally try to avoid criticizing pricing on the sales thread.

Not when it's off by that much... it's better to make it public to protect our members from being ripped off (either intentionally by scammers or unintentionally by people who don't know the fair value of what they're selling) by wildly overpriced items...

Which is it?

The seller should be able to choose to ask whatever he likes for his chips. If they are deemed overpriced by the masses, they'll go unsold.
If someone chooses to buy them, that's their choice too.

Free market. Everything is worth whatever somebody is willing to pay for it. But honestly I didn't know what the going price was

Pretty easy to lower prices into market. Pretty hard to raise price after 5 ppl call dibs 30seconds after listing. People get just as upset missing out on deals as they do seeing stuff they think is overpriced
