I have a set of 300 Paulson Starbursts that I'm putting up for sale. The person I bought them from described them as "Vintage - like new". They said they only played with them twice and purchased them in the 1980's. I would say they are mostly mint, at least the edges are very sharp and in good shape, but some of them look like they could use a gentle cleaning with just some warm soapy water (mostly the black ones). They don't appear to have ever been oiled. They'd probably look brand new if you put a very minor amount of TLC into them. The edges are very sharp on all the chips. However, photos speak for themselves, so please see photos and judge condition for yourselves. I tried to take a couple close up pics of some of the dirtiest black chips so you can see the good and the bad for yourselves. I got a good deal on these and am looking to turn them for a profit to put toward some other chips.
Asking $300 shipped SOLD - US only for now, sorry guys. I just don't have the necessary time to deal with international shipping at the moment.
This isn't necessarily a "dibs" auction. I will give preference to whoever wants them first to a certain degree, but if someone has a really good reason for why they should "belong" to them, I may give preference to them first depending on how great of a sob story they can give me.
Chip counts are as follows:
100 - White (55 have 25c stamps beneath the starburst, 20 have 5000 stamps, 20 are just starburst)
100 - Blue (these are pretty cool looking I think - about 65 have 414 blue edge spots, 35 have 312 blue edge spots - but it appears to be the same blue as the chips? not sure. I'm curious how they'd look if oiled...)
54 - Black Chips
46 - Red Chips
