I also still have some cheaper Paulson THC options for those looking for budget sets. They're old school leaded shaped inlay chips from the Outpost Casino. I have sets and individual racks available at the link below.

I really want one of those outpost sets... then I realized I'm building 3 cash sets right now.... I can't even convince my group to play cash games. What is my problem?
Let's share groups. My group will only pay cash and are hesitant about tournaments!

I used to play a weekly cash game but that evolved into twice a month now I'm lucky if I can get one 2-3 times a year. Everyone loves the tournament format. Me...cash all the way

I'm in the same boat. I'm wanting to work a quarter into my Outpost set or possibly replace the 1s but now that I've cleaned them I really like them, on top of buying 2 new tourney sets in a week, odd and end singles and stacks, working on custom set ideas and ultimately putting together a PCA set. It's a disease that eats at your brain. My wife says I have a sickness.

I'm an almost exclusive cash player too, but enjoy the once in a while tournament. With cash, you're sitting there for 4+ hours with breaks that aren't too long. Towards the end of the night, it starts to feel like a grind and the quality of play decreases rapidly, especially if a couple of players crash out and don't buy back in and the game gets short handed. That's why I've introduced occasional bomb pots to the game to liven things up. First person to win a hand with a boat or better on the night gets a "bomb pot" chip that they can "cash in" at any time. Last hand of the night is also a bomb pot.

As for tournaments, I'm trying to get a Sunday afternoon tournament together where we can have the football games on in the background and play poker throughout the afternoon. If you get eliminated from the tournament and don't want to buy back in, just hang out and watch football. That's been a tough sell though, as the cash game that I host usually gets together only once a month or so, and schedules don't really match up to do it more.

Sunday afternoon poker is a great idea, especially as the season goes on more and the weather starts to get worse. I used play in a $1/1 cash game every Sunday. We started at 1 and played until the late games ended. Ordered pizza from the bar down the street, drank beer and had a blast. We did that for 3 years until the host got married and she ended all of our fun.

1 rack sold, the other 2 are still pending. Will update once they've all been sold.
