Hi,
i made different approaches to get a home made chip/button, and i found a relative simple way to do!
All you need is in the first picture.
The most important tools are a pasta bike (finally this thing gets used!), and a 3D printed mold (actually in progress).
The pasta bike makes it super easy to get the clay in shape, and Fimo is actually easier to handle when it’s thin…!?!

Poker, PCF and most of it‘s members are US-based, so i choose the classic red-white-blue
colors.
Hope this is an inspiration for other members to get creative!

Roll out clay with the pasta bike

Cut stripes, or spot patterns

Staple the stripes and pass‘em thru the bike

Place a washer (or a broken dice chip 8g), and flip the sheet over,
and cut it out with the 60mm puncher.

Apply some cornstarch to the mold and the chip, and assemble the pieces.

Now place the lid, press the mold to the max and the chip is done!

To cure the chip place it 30min @ 110C / 230F in the oven.
Let it cool down and sand a bid down with 180/400 grid.

Have fun!!

Will post some finished ones later on…

I changed the face mold to a 0.8mm imprint.

The four color 1/4 pie V4 looks nice in the oven… ; )

Thank you - appreciate that!

Yes they will be available.
Just send me a PM with your ideas/thoughts what you are looking for, and let‘s see if possible.

The label is a standart ‚Dealer‘, can be slightly modified (D, Deal, etc…) or without label when you have your own (33mm).

This is pretty cool. Are you making the STLs available for doing this yourself at all? Makes me want to fire up my 3d printer. The search for 3d printed poker chips was disappointing but this looks neat.

The white button is absolute fire, and really dig the hundo, Thank you!!!!
The colors are rather close too
Thank you - glad you like‘em!

I received the stl files from a PCF member, and i gave him something to adapt them for my needs.

Those are awesome @SwissChip

Well done!!!
Thanks!!

Fair, I'm not against paying for the STL files if they're available from the original maker. If not I suppose I best start modeling myself, but it's always easier to start with a working model in my opinion =)

If you scan this thread a bit, you can find out who made these molds ; )

You’ve gotta give us a pro tip on how you did those edgespots. After seeing your posts and this vid, I’m going to the garage to find my machine. Awesome projects
