These are from the Opera House Casino in Las Vegas. This chip mold was almost always seen as an injection mold plastic chip. However, These chips appear to be clay. You will notice the injection point mark that is usually seen with chips of this mold is not present on any of these chips. They also appear to have lathe marks on they edges as seen on clay chips. I have put an example of this mold from another casino to allow you to see the mark made when they are injection mold chips. The casino closed in 2015 after being open for 40 years. They are Mint ! The colors are great and would really pop with some oil. The set is has 153- $5 , 93- $25, and 28 - $100. These are with the unicorn mold. They are in excellent shape ! paypal FF

Cool chips! Compression-molded unicorns would be the unicorns of unicorns.

I do not have anything to weigh in grams. They are lighter than some Paul sons I have and about the same as some others just by feel. I guess I can just break one and burn it on video, but that will lessen the number of chips

The edges are much squarer on these than the injection molded version. Also the hotstamps are much more defined. note there is no texture in stamp like plastic version. I am a clay believer. If there was a playable (to me) set here I would be very interested. I think these are rare and real clay.

So are there denoms on one side or are you just going by colors to represent value when you give your breakdown?

I may be interested in this set. My daughters want me to teach them poker and this set might be perfect...the colors and unicorns would make them extremely happy.

The denoms are on the opposite side

That was my thought too! My daughter would love these. Between the colors and the unicorns, this is like the most feminine set of casino chips I've ever seen!

Non-believer. If clay, who made them? Where's the mold?

Take a match to one, that will settle it. Clay chips don't burn.

Not trying to dispute anyone, I tried a test on some initialed HHR Chips. It appeared to hold a flame just like the Opera house Chips did. Now let's take a moment of silence for both of these chips.

Virgin, I got them thrown in with some other chips. Have had no use for them so not cleaned or oiled.

Who's going to burn a Paulson?

Two data points don't mean squat.
I burned a Paulson tonight with a blow torch. It doesn't really hold a flame. It will hold a flame for a second or two, which I assume is surface shit burning off. But that goes out on its own a second after you take the torch off it.
This may not be inconsistent with the experiments above. I'd ask how long those other chips held a flame for.
