Frac colour is really dependent on the rest of the lineup. I have green, pink, arc yellow/peach, brown and blaze fracs in my various sets.

For the lineup listed in the OP, I’d certainly consider pink or blue for the frac.

I'm kind of leaning that way too. Lots of great advice in this forum!

You’ll never have a quarter in a $5000 on the same table so I would circle back to the baby blue or a 5000. But if it were me I would be running plaques or 43 mm.

Yes, I was referring to a cash set. Your observation is dead on...it was late and I kind of conflated two sets in my post that was originally intended to only ask about the .25 frac. I'll have two sets (cash and tournament).

I really like white for the $1 chip, but I've heard they get dirty and look bad. Also, I notice the Sands Hotel in Las Vegas had blue for the $1 chips. Many top casinos have now switched from white to blue, so maybe light blue is better than white for $1? If I went with a light blue base for the $1, then what would be everyone's pick for the .25 frac?

For fracs, my favorites are Orange or Pink.

I’ve been on the pink frac train for a bit. I’ve decided I definitely like it with blue dollars, but it does feel like the color palette is a little small for a set that goes pink frac, white dollar, red five. I would also like to echo the folks saying peach and yellow look good as frac options for a blue dollar, as well.

Sharing this one as an example of pots looking a little too monochromatic going pink-white-red.

And here are two ceramic sets where I’m very happy with pink frac into blue dollar (though they diverge on other color choices after that).

I like a white quarter with a blue $1. If the $1 is white, blue would be my first pick for quarter.

I would advocate against using white for anything other than a 1 or 100, okay MAYBE a 500 (I've seen it used as a .25 and as a 5 and 500)

You've landed on a Nevada standard, if you have a white 1, blue is a nice contrast for it.

Here is what I would do, although I wouldn't make a chip above 500

.25 - blue
$1 - White
$5 - Red
$25 - Green
$100 - Black
$500 - Purple
$1,000 - Yellow Orange
$5,000 - Grey
$25,000 - Cranberry

The amounts you list for higher denomination chips suggest this is a crazy high stakes cash game, OR a super low denomination tourney set. It SHOULD NOT be both. The only caveat is if the chips will NEVER see cross rotation. Your tourney starts at T25 and your highest cash chip is $20.

Many new folks come in with the notion of creating that ONE set that does it all, for both cash and tourney. It has been discussed ad nauseum here as why this is a disastrous idea and should not be done. Can you elaborate as the intentions for your set?

Aside from that, I'd suggest a yellow or blue frac, but you used yellow for the 1k chip.

.25 pink is very common, but you can find other colors that work just fine
5000 grey or orange are common
25k up to you, find something that works with the 1k and 5k I always liked a shade of green

Different designs maybe or $20 instead of T25 for cash game. You can also make the $100 larger or

Tan Fracs for sure. (I also like yellow for fracs, and it's probaby safe to say fracs and $1000 chips will never see the table together.) Pink for 5K, and maybe blue for 25K.

That said, I think Blue is a better color for singles than white.

Since I'm using peach as the. 25, I decided on yellow for my.50 that I just got custom made. I saw a pic of them but it will be awhile until I have them in hand.

I'm working on a custom frac for my Rockingham Park set (which uses white for $1, green for $25, and a gray for $5 that is hideous and wears poorly).

I was considering peach for the frac, but after seeing prototypes alongside my chips, I'm planning to go with the lavender. Bottom row represents what I ultimately plan to do, laid out with the originals. Top row are color combos I wanted to see; I still like some of those prototypes and may use one of them to print out a rack of NDs.

If I were looking at a set with a proper red $5, I might want to go with the tan or peach frac instead, and probably change the pink tint on the hundo too.

I would only do red for a $5. I tried to keep $5 red, $25 green, and $100 black the standard colors.
