This year’s WSOP main event will air on ESPN after several years on CBS Sports Network:

Instead of a live final table or November Nine, they’ll pause for three weeks after setting the final table and go for a three day broadcast August 3rd- August 5th.

I noticed that Ali & Nick handled the 2025 livestream on PokerGo but the rebroadcasts on CBS Sports Network had Lon and Norm.
Hopefully, it’ll be Lon & Norm for the main ESPN shows this year.

While I understood the CBS Sports Network/PokerGo move, I always thought the main event should have remained on ESPN

Happy to see it back on ESPN, but still not a fan of the long pause before playing out the FT. So many variables change during that time with research, coaching, etc. It’s like a brand new tournament.

Yeah a 3 day reset would be ideal going down to 2 tables…

A live bubble would be great TV—I can only imagine how much more dramatic that 2003 Ivey-Moneymaker hand would have been if it were live before that final table

I read that the final table was being delayed for a few weeks so it doesn't conflict with the World Cup. I havent looked at the schedule to see if that even makes sense. But if I can blame soccer for anything, I'm all for it.
