Curious what the current state of the dealer button market is. I know there's frequent group buys from BR Pro and Tina but I am curious for folks to weigh in on pros and cons and what other manufacturers there are if any.

Here's the start of what I know with pricing info as of 08/31/2025:

Tina (via @justincarothers group buys)
  1. Thick acrylic on both sides, double and single sided options
  2. 65mm and 80mm options
  3. Pricing
    1. 65mm stock designs = $9ea (currently on sale for $7ea)
    2. 80mm stock designs = $10.50ea (currently on sale for $8.50ea)
    3. 80mm custom price = $10.50ea
    4. No recent/current 65mm custom GB
  4. 300 MOQ so mostly through GBs, minimum 5 per design when ordering through GB

BR Pro Poker
  1. 49mm and 60mm
  2. Pricing for customs on BR Pro website:
    1. 49mm = $5.50ea @ <10, $4.75ea @ <100, $3.75ea @ 100+
    2. 60mm = $7.00ea @ <25, $6.25ea @ <100, $5.25ea @ 100+
    3. 10 MOQ for printed edges, <10 for plain white edges

Unknown? Thick Glass DB (based on GB from April 2024 that didn't go through but used for @Himewad NUTS buttons)
  1. Thick K9 Crystal, single sided only
  2. 80mm
  3. Per April 2024 price was ~$45 for 4 buttons.
  4. Manufacturer noted to be very unresponsive and an issue with printing flaking off?
  5. Maybe not a real option?
Q1) What options if any am I missing?
Q2) What are pros and cons of each option? Both in terms of ordering process (less important to me, but important to some) and in terms of quality of the button

I love the K9 crystal because you get the weight without needing to be so thick, but I can’t recommend them because the printing on the back inevitably always wears off, making them look ugly.

I like the 80mm acrylics, but they are huge. I’m surprised the 65mm acrylics haven’t become the more popular choice just because they aren’t as massive as the 80mm version.

I still prefer the 60mm ceramics, though. I know they don’t print as clear as the acrylics, but there’s something about them that I just like more. Maybe it’s just because they were first.

Ditto.

I have Mirage and a Bomb 80mm acrylic and they’re lovely and well made and huge. Especially for me: 2 on the table, 10 people at table, big cash stacks.

I’m bringing to PHL4 hoping one of the db degenerates will take them off me. @Nuhockey

Now running 60mm BRPro. Smaller. Flatter. Better but never used 65mm acrylic for comparison.

I have no experience with the acrylic, but I love my custom 60mm buttons from BRPro. A nice weight, mine turned out beautifully and had a really quick turn around time.

80mm are unbelievably popular on this forum but they aren't for me. I sold my last 2 last month. I have both 65mm acrylic and 60mm ceramic from BR Pro and the latter is my favorite as well.

I have a 65mm Tina acrylic and thought it already felt hefty, not surprised y’all’re saying 80mm are huge.

I have several BR PRO 60mm and they just never come across as premium to me. I think maybe it’s that they’re a bit thin, but it might also just be about association because many I own/have seen use kind of “gimmicky” designs that I don’t personally like. Not yucking anyone’s yums, but like Aliens, Simpsons, Pcaman, just not for me and I think I may have imposed some of my dislike of that style onto the DB itself.

I am not sure if I should add them to my summary because I assume they’re not very accessible but I love my DBs from the Matsui Zen GB. Shiny, slide around table well, really nice depth on the colors.

This is all because I’m carefully considering my options for my Taylor Swift set lol. Right now I’m strongly leaning 65mm acrylic. Put both one of those and a BR PRO 60mm into play in the last month and strongly preferred the larger bolder Tina DB. I don’t have great eyes and it was way more noticeable than the 60mm and I felt like the extra weight and slipperiness were noticeably helpful when moving the button around the table
