Sold 200 x .05 Pharaoh China Clays (1 Viewer)

I have two racks of these nickels that I got off eBay a while back. They never saw my felt and need a new home. They're not in the best shape and honestly, they smell bad to me but maybe that's just how all CC smell? I'm not sure.

Might be interested... I was really keen on getting Majestics for a micro set but this deal is decent. Have you oiled them, and can you remark on what you mean by poor condition? Smell might be a dealbreaker..

Hi @Nathanman123 - I thought more about it and decided that I should really do something to see if the smell was due to the chip material, or if it had been acquired by a previous owner - so I've washed and scrubbed the chips today and will report on if that has removed the odor later. The poor condition is simply due to some rather big flea bites/chips in some of the chips. You can see this in some of the photos I posted.

I'll post more pics post wash with close up of the damaged chips so you can get a better idea of what I mean.

The smell has definitely been reduced, but it isn't gone. It's kind of a plasticy/chemical smell. Here's chips post-wash/scrub. They haven't been oiled, which should be apparent.
