I believe your boss has another rack of these in this condition, but the price is what some might call, eh 'em, a tad high. Perhaps you can show him this listing so that @Saditsfact can he enticed to end up with a playable number (3 racks) of these chips
We've got a few more racks in the same condition. I can show him the price, but I don't think that he's going to budge...

I'll give it a try tomorrow and see what happens.

Yeah it was $900 for a "mint" rack and $800 for the dirty/excellent? @FrankBlack you want to hook em up with the 3rd rack now that you bought some new 5s ;)

@ this price they would make a phenomenal restamp project
Hmmm, maybe, but I'm gonna vote "no" on that one. Here's my 2 cents for free. If you have an absolute keeper of a Cali hot stamp set and you don't have/cannot find original, spotted Fracs, then I can see an argument for restamping them as Vegas World $.25 Fracs (same stamp design as the original stamp design, but different denomination) to have a red, Cali set hot stamp Frac for your keeper Cali set. You'd then be into these chips for $9/chip, which is a little bit pricey for a restamp chip that's not a $100 chip or a $500 chip (difficult to find denominations), but not a terrible price for a keeper set. But personally, I would not go this route because (1) while certainly not the easiest to find, some original spotted Fracs exist in rack quantity, and I reserve restamping for instances where I cannot find originals in sufficient quantity; and (2) more importantly, Vegas World isn't a Cali casino, so IMO it doesn't really fit well with a keeper Cali hot stamp set, and my experience is that restamping generally only works well when you use the original stamp design for the restamped chip. IMO when you use a different stamp design than the original stamp design, too much of the imprint from the previous stamp shows through. Some people have tried to compensate for that by having a stamp design that uses a lot of foil, but stamps with too much foil aren't visually appealing to me.
