Dan, are the roulette chips dice chip plastic or something different?
They feel much more quality than dice chips. Not slugged, not a sticker center (I believe - I didn't work them too hard). Could be ceramic with the printing, but didn't seem heavy enough compared to other chipcos I have. Hell, could even be clay (I don't believe so because of the shiny texture), but without any extras to destroy, it is tough to tell. The fact they came in vintage chip boxes has me believing that they are probably more quality than I'm giving them credit for.

With the horseshoe, I tried to find them in the chipguide, but didn't have any luck. I will say that if I had any need for Roulette chips (board games, casino night, etc), these would be a snap buy at 10 cents each.

Dan, thanks for your reply. These are interesting and would make a great gift for a friends grandson. I will think on these and get back to you.
Thanks Mike

What an interesting chip! I wonder if they might be screen-printed? It's not very common, but I've seen some screen-printed chips (in pictures, not in person). I don't think I've seen any screen-printed in two colors, though (red-on-white in this case). The graphic doesn't look like it could be either an inlay or an adhesive sticker - the base color of the chip is showing through in the horseshoe, but there's white dots on top of that. The whole thing could be a ceramic chip printed with dye sublimation, but most ceramic chips have more interesting designs than that, with something on the rolling edges.

I wish I had a reason to take these just so I could get my hands on them!

Good luck with the sale!

Langworthys are sold. Lowered price on Roulettes to $55 + shipping ($70 shipped CONUS)

Thanks so much!

Final drop before burying them in the chip vault.

$40 + shipping for 700 Roulettes. You also get the 7 vintage chip boxes they are in.

Come on people - we're getting into crackhead prices
