Hi All
My group currently plays cash but I'd like to test out a tournament as in the past this is what we used to play.
I have just received my new cash set but I still have my old set which we could use to tournaments.

The 'tourney' set is as follows:
100x T5
100x T25
100x T100
We usually play for 4 hours so I was thinking of a 2 hour turbo then cash after so that everything stays social and people aren't going home too early. I would probably allow rebuys for an hour unless this would really extend the play time.
T1k starting stack
15 x T5
13 x T25
6 x T100
I'm torn between longer levels with bigger jumps or shorter levels with a smoother structure. Long levels allows people to get used to the blinds but obviously creates a jumpy structure. I want at least 100bb to start so that people can get warmed up a bit but have the chips to go higher if needed.
There will be 6k in play, 5% of which is 300, so the expected end is the 100/200 level where the total blinds equal that 300.
Here is option 1 blinds, 20 minute levels, should end at level 8 = 2hr. Blinds chosen around the T25 chips
5/10
10/25
25/50
25/75
75/150
100/200
Option 2, same but without the skew towards T25 usage
5/10
10/20
20/40
40/80
75/150
100/200
Option 3, 12 minute levels, should end at level 10 = 2hours
5/10
5/15
10/20
15/30
20/40
30/60
40/80
60/120 (or 50/100)
75/150
100/200
Anyone have any thoughts?
If tournaments go well I will likely sell this set for a new T500 set
