160 Paulson Starbursts, probably Sky Blue

** I cannot 100% guarantee these are Sky Blue as I do not have colour samples. However, after looking at sample colours online and the box theses came in, I do believe they are probably Sky Blue **

When I got these chips half were loose in a box of mixed chips and half in an old Paulson box which someone had wrote ‘Sky Blue’ on. I assumed all the chips were sky Blue. Upon closer inspection and sorting, they are two different shades of blue, one lighter and one darker, but they do not seem far enough apart to be different colours.

Attached are pictures of them separated, the darker blue on the bottom, the lighter blue on the top and a picture of the light and dark mixed together.

I believe them to both be Sky Blue but maybe from different production batches and maybe stored in different conditions, that could have effected the colour?

I have no Paulson colour samples to compare them to but I was sent pictures of colour samples from someone on PCF and I’ve also compared them to the only Paulson chips I have access to. All pictures are attached.

Apart from the different shades, the chips are in nice condition.
All of the hot stamps are very nice, very clear with no over stamping.
All edges are sharp and chips can stand on their edge.
There are a few flea bites, not too many.

These chips are old and need a clean and some oil, but with a little TLC they will come up really nice.
Maybe a good ultrasonic clean and some oil will get the two shades closer together, I don’t know.

I am being as honest and transparent about these chips as I can, I don’t want anyone to purchase them and be disappointed with the different shades.

Plastic Paulson chip box not included.

I’m in Canada but will ship to CONUS.
I’ve looked into shipping and it will probably be around $30 to anywhere in the USA and will take at least 7 business days.

I have several other auctions, if you buy multiple items I will try and combine them to get you the lowest price on shipping.
