Just a curiosity, what is the reason for the different PIP placement on blackjack cards like this? You see them a lot on the casino cards. I don't play blackjack so I don't know. Thanks.

I don't think these are "new" cards but are casino used. They are still nice cards but from my experience these decks packaged like this are often marked on the edges with black Sharpie. These marks are inconsistent and basically mark the cards, so you may want to check for this as well.

They make great euchre decks!

Depending on the up card and the orientation of the down card placed into the dealer's peeker, will determine how the PIP aligns in the peeker and indicates to the dealer whether or not they have a blackjack.

These kinds of cards can make nice souvenirs or something for kids to play with. But in my experience, they're too marked-up to use with adults playing for money, not to mention that I've come across a fair number that had missing cards and/or duplicates mixed in.

Should the blackjack itch strike again, I highly recommend buying a smaller number of decks of plastic cards and using those instead. (Or better, use them for poker!) For $100, you could get 8 decks to fill a shoe and still have enough left over for lammers and whatnot.

Ive opened some of them no missing cards and to me they look brand new someone said they are used I got them from a dollar store so not sure to me they look brand new but im sure they are used but they are as fresh as a new deck to me it seems anyway

It's not surprising that they feel new. Casinos tend to retire paper cards before they become visibly worn. And in my experience, most of them do have all 52 cards (plus jokers and whatever else), but not with the consistency that truly new decks do. They're sold more as souvenirs than gaming instruments.

You may have a hard time unloading these at this price, that's what I'm trying to get at.

Just tryin to get my money back is all I paid $1.06 a deck drove too many miles I dont even wanna say lol and large flat rate box is like $22 bucks or somethin so its w.e I can put them on fee bay and they should sell just figured id try here first no worries im not trippin on it I figured they would be perfect for blackjack

Weirdly my local dollar store in New York once in a long would have a couple dozen used Vegas casino cards on the shelf... I’d buy some if I could get two of the same kind, so I could replace any cards that get scuffed/marked and make them last longer. Been a couple years since they’ve cropped up.

You used to get them sometimes at DollarTree (chain dollar store) in Canada. But I've since moved and the isn't one near me anymore.
