Yeah, it’s either an understated $500 or an overstated $100. And I like the $100, so I’m with you.
 
You need equal numbers of $5 and $25 chips for a T5-base tourney set, so the breakdown isn't really too bad.....
 
That breakdown doesn't look right. I think someone else has a bunch of $1s and $5s from that rack.

My guess is this.

$1-2185 (4000 - 5000)
$5-5710 (10,000)
$25-5765 (6000)
$100-1996 (2000 - 2500)
$500-500 (500)

I like to see at least 400x $1s per table. But that’s me. Call me crazy. :p

Agreed. 5/25/100/500 tournament sets. I haven't run the numbers but at first blush, he could break them down nicely into $1/$5/$25/$100 cash sets and 5/25/100/500 tournament sets.
 
After 20+ years of running, banking, and dealing a single-table home game, I concluded that more than 300 $1s just serves to slow down the game. It takes longer to move the pots, *much* longer to stack chips, and often interferes with the following hand or hands. I've always had more than three racks available, but was not tempted to ever use even a fourth rack.

Limit games are the sole exceptions. Tons of chips still fucks up the game, but these days that's an expected part of the limit poker experience.
 
Ideally for our table I'd probably like something like

1 x 300
5 x 700
25 x 300
100 x 100
500 x 20

Maybe a few more 1s and 5s for us to make it for a 2nd table.
