SOLD 1000 T-mold blanks (1 Viewer)

I took a much better look at all my T-molds today. Here are my findings:

The canary yellows have the worst of the stains. Unfortunately there was no way for me to replace them when I bought them since they were the last of the stock. None of the other colors are nearly as bad as these, but I'd say the Sherbert green chips are the second worst. There aren't very many stains on the other colors, although there's one particularly bad one on a lavender chip above.

Initially this sale was posted as a make offer ad. I have listed my price in the OP which I am not profiting on (shipping was a little pricey...). If they don't sell for what I'm asking I'd be tempted to keep these for however long it takes me to come up with a custom set. AFAIK there aren't really any other options for custom hot-stamps other than CPC but if I am wrong feel free to let me know.

For anyone curious about how I was going to use these chips, here it is:

Sherbert green T25
Charcoal T100
Lavender T500
Canary Yellow T1000
Chocolate T5000
Hot pink T25,000

Dark green: Re-buy chips
Royal red: Bounty chips
Grey, Dark blue and purple: Seating chips

Horizon blue: Alternate T5000 chip which would likely require the whole set to be milled and labeled instead of hot-stamped.

The set above would work comfortably for 20 players with T10k all the way up to T40k starting stacks. 30 players is a bit of a stretch, but one could always pursue more chips.

The colors are quite accurate in the OP (aside from the horizon blue) but if anyone wants to see the colors in person I have a BCC color sample set I could sell first for $30 shipped (34 chips).

Still coming back here btw lol. I know you don't want to haggle, the price point is a little more than what I want to spend. I'm really not interested in all the small lots of denominations.

Would love to hot stamp them. A grand is still a damn grand

Approximately:

Canary Yellow: 100 good 70 stained

Sherbert Green: 150 good 90 stained

Anything that had a little spec of another color on the chip was added to the stained pile. The people with the highest OCD should probably add around 10 chips to the stained side since I sped up after a while. I may look through them one more time.

I will demonstrate with pictures a bit later.

Pictures attached are all examples of stained chips. Yellows overall are worse. To be safe I'm going to say 90 Canary Yellows and 110 Sherbert Greens are stained to some degree.

Still trying to figure out how I would use it for a cash set......

I think my favorite colors to use would be Canary Yellow, Horizon Blue, Hot Pink and Charcoal.

Maybe:

100-200 x Horizon Blue fracs (if okay with non-denoms that are already stamped)
240 x Charcoal $1s
170 x Canary Yellow $5s
12 x Hot Pink $20s or 120 x Lavender $20s

And if you want more than that maybe you could add:

30 x Dark green $25s or 240 x Sherbert Green $25s (if different foil color than Canary Yellow $5s?)
12 x Hot pink $100s?

You could also add Royal Red blanks from holdempokerchips if you prefer red $5s (or to have more than 170 if you don't find more Canary Yellows). Maybe it's because I take a long time to decide but I always like to have options.

If you saw my ad at the very beginning, I went from saying " I think there's 1-3 stained chips" to now probably over 200. Clearly I've been too busy buying chips to check my own purchases (might be a tiny bit lazy as well ). I haven't double checked the other colors, but you can see a few stains in the pictures in previous posts.

In short, I think it's time to start considering offers. Not sure how I'm going to prioritize or what I'll accept. The cash set suggestion I made above almost has me drooling. If none of the chips were stained I think it would. Holographic foil for some $20s, $25s, $100s or all? Mmmmm

I took yet another look at my chips. My guess would be that stains are pretty typical buying these from holdempokerchips (since mine came with a bunch) but I don't know for sure. Obviously if anyone is really picky about them I would not advise purchasing mine.

Approximate numbers:

Canary Yellow 70 of 170 stained
Sherbert Green 114 of 242 stained

Those 2 colors have most of the worst stains, but anything with a small spec of another color is considered stained. The ones on the following chips are mostly pretty tame:

Chocolate 23 of 102 stained
Charcoal 31 of 242 stained
Lavender 6 of 122 stained
Royal Red 3 of 50 stained
Dark Green 8 of 30 stained
Purple 1 of 10 stained
Gray 3 of 10 stained
Dark Blue 6 of 10 stained
Hot Pink 3 of 12 stained

I have added some pictures to the OP. My new price for the 1000 blanks is $700USD shipped CAN/CONUS. This doesn't mean that I wouldn't ship elsewhere, just that I presume shipping overseas will add quite a bit of cost.

Once again, please don't buy my chips if you will be unhappy finding for example 5 to 20 more stains than I have listed. I was pretty picky categorizing them but I could have easily missed a few of the smaller ones.

Well, I don't want to rip anyone off with stained chips, but I also would rather not lose a bunch of money.

How about this: If buying the Horizon Blue stamps as well, the price is $750USD shipped. I cannot confirm the stain situation on them at this time, but I'm assuming it's pretty good. abby99 or slisk250 might have an idea since they were previous owners.

If people are interested in splitting, I may consider good offers, but I would much prefer to sell everything together.

So, for $750 shipped:

$0.55/chip for the 1000 blanks + estimated $50 shipping = $600
$150 for the 200 Horizon blue stamps, what I paid
