120 x T5000 (40 @MaxB, if split)

(if someone buys the whole set, I'll include a few spares of each denom, and a couple of T25,000 v2 chips as well -- just a few, it's all I have).

Price: $1600, plus $30 shipping (2 MFRB) . Chips will ship in Matsui racks.
Payment by Paypal FF, Venmo, or Zelle.

Willing to chop the set in 2 if both halves are spoken for, but I'm not splitting it further.
We used this set one time for our monthly tournament (and I won the tournament!!). The players really loved the set. So if nobody is interested in these...I won't be sad to keep them.

And now, pr0n. The photos only show half of the set. The accurate chip counts are above.

Just out of curiosity because I’ve never owned either but how do Matsui’s and Sun-Fly hybrids stack up to each other? Same feel, weight, etc?

Matsuis are a smidge more slick IMO, heavier, and have alot harder edges. I prefer them from the two, as long as you're okay with a wiggly pile sometimes.

Matsui chips are plastic, have a metal slug, weigh about 13g, and are very slippery.

Sun-Fly 43mm hybrids are ceramic with a recess containing a laminated label, weigh 10g, and have greater surface friction and stack stability of any chip available except high-end clays. The 39mm hybrids are both lighter and slicker than the 43mm versions, but still not as slick as plastic chips.

I have been having a hard time grabbing stacks of Matsui chips without them exploding everywhere.... they are not like Paulsons (which I am used to). However that didn't stop me from building a nasty set of these for my tournaments (I love them) and the colors pop like you wouldn't imagine (the pictures show the colors well, but they are better in person). These are really nice chips and from the lack of posted sales of these, you know everyone is keeping them because they are good.

I hear the chanting from the crowd .... SPLIT! SPLIT! SPLIT! SPLIT! SPLIT! SPLIT! SPLIT! SPLIT! SPLIT! SPLIT!

I'm willing to split if all chips are spoken for, but it seems like everyone with sets already is set for 25s and 100s -- so I think a split is doubtful.

To each their own -- some people love the Sun-Fly hybrids, I really really can't stand them. The main reason is that the color saturation is terrible. I like vibrant, rich, depp chip colors. Hybrids miss the mark by a mile. To me, they look like well worn chips, even when brand new (and don't like the glossy rolling edge with a matte finish face). And I personally don't care for the feel of hybrids (any ceramics, really). So for *ME*, the choice is very clear. I like the square edge, super vibrant colors of the Matsui's better. But agree, depending on how you handle chips, some people hate how slippery the Matsui are. For me, this is not a problem at all. For others....really big deal.

As everything - get samples. Only you know what you'd like. I think I could hook you up with a full sample set of these Matsui Horseshoes *and* a 43mm hybrid sample set of the Burro chips.

Hopefully this sale will not be going on by the time you get the samples though....these chips are really great!

I’ve amassed a ton of samples just like everyone else but it’s the way to go prior to committing. I felt the same way about the Sun-flys without even having them in hand. Looking at the pics, they don’t seem to be as vibrant and it looked like there was some fading of the colors in certain spots. Thought it was just me or maybe a random chip here and there.

if you were to split (I was just busting chops with the chanting :) ), I'd do:

20 T25
20 T100
40 T500
40 T1k
40 T5k

I’ll take up to 100 25s and 100s if it makes the split work.

Hey, that would leave me with exactly what I'd want for a 1-table set, with regard to the remaining 25s, 100s, and 500s -- and I'm not worried about having extra T1k and T5k, as I think I can find buyers for those.

So a split of half the set could work.

I'm going to give this at least the rest of the day though, to see if anyone comes forward wanting the full 2-table set.

I would take T25 and T100 if split.

Not that I really need any more, but if available, I will take the following:

T25 x 160
T100 x 160
T1000 x 40
T5000 x 40

That will get my set from 40 buy-ins w/40 rebuys to 50 for a T10k starting stack. Why do I keep doing this? :ROFLMAO:

OK, split is happening. Can fill requests for @Saoliver, @MaxB, and @Highli99. Will update OP with what is left later today. I have to get to a meeting now.

Thanks, Mel. If you are good with it, could I do this breakdown instead:

T25 x 120
T100 x 100
T500 x 40
T1000 x 100
T5000 x 40

Still 400 chips. If it is too much trouble, then just keep the original.
