Are people finding these from the used not cleaned chips? I probably bought over 1,000 used cleaned chips and didn’t have 1 chip in mint condition. Same with $5’s.

That’s pretty unlucky. Seems to be hit and miss - some racks have quite a few mint, many have none.

I got a rack early on and 40 of 100 were reasonable ok
Not SHARP but perfectly nice to me once cleaned
Clean them and set them in big stacks to try and naturally flatten out a bit they look substantially nicer and they are 10g chips they feel good to riffle

Were you buying the "cleaned" ones or the "uncleaned" ones. I always bought from the cleaned category. I also bought a few hundred from other forum members and maybe they had already been picked through.

Sorry to hijack but yea, the cleaned ones seems to have a lower proportion of mint for some reason and the 1s have fewer near mint than the 5s IME (and 25s have almost zero near mint). which is why I bought out the uncleaned 5s

these chips look closer to top 5% than top 10% of used 1s from what I’ve seen but ymmv.
