It's true. When I was in Macau, I witnessed an entire baccarat floor (the game is big there) where every seat was squeezing their cards as if they were attempting to break the record for the slowest reveal ever... for every hand... It was incredible. Every single card ended up looking like a potato chip and the dealers just discarded them in a huge pile next to them. Other staff would routinely come by and collect the discards in a big bag and then drop off new decks. The amount of cards they must go through must be staggering.

Yup I've been there. The Wynn Macau was awesome
Same exact thing in Korea
Same exact thing here at the tables in Philippines.
They just have a discard box for the cards.
Cheap paper cards Im sure they buy them by the pallet.
Not really an issue when they are in there dropping 10k a hand at bacc

Never been to the casinos in Korea nor the Philippines but I believe it. I wonder if Vegas has this happening in their games. I'll have to take a closer look when I go there again. But you're right, with those crazy high limits, the players can probably keep on mangling them cards to their heart's content.

Yah I saw a hand in Korea and must have waited 5 mins to see what happened. The one guy had a tower of 1K chips had to have been
50 chips or more. They ended in a tie. I couldn't wait another 10 minutes LOL
