Hello there, I'm trying to put together my cash game Set 1/2 game with optional straddle. I am buying the rounder 500 set chips, can you guys tell me what you think. Do I need to add more? thank you

$1x100
$5x300
$25x80
$100x20

total bank $5,600

I would be concerned you could need more bank....
What type of case will you put these in? Many hold more than listed capacity. For example an aluminum 500chip case can often hold 550 chips.
I suggest
102x 1
302x 5
102x 25
42x 100
2x 500
*this gives you 2 spares and another $3900 in chip bank. Assuming this is a Keeper set, allows for years of attrition.

how many players and typical buy-ins?
I'd think you would need another rack of $5's with a potential additional rack of $25's.

Assuming 8-10 players with $2-300 buy-ins. I guess though, you'd have to take the top-3 "cash-in-bank" games and make sure you can cover that.

If you are limiting yourself to 500 chips, this is exactly the numbers I'd use. I agree that another rack of $5s and combined rack of 80x$25 & 20x$100 (total 160x$25, 40x$100) would be great.

See how it plays and add on if necessary. Of you run short initially, Cash plays . . .

Yeah I might need to add more considering we do straddle. We are always 9-10 players deep throughout the night.
I was thinking this set up.

$1x150
$5x500
$25x100
$100x50

total chips 800
total bank $10,050
