Copag poker size vs bridge size what are your opinions?

Hello everyone! this is my first official thread post, i apologize if this question is already out there or old hat. but I am looking to pick up another set of Copags soon, I already have a red/blue set of poker sized 4 color index that I've only used them a few times. I do not like them for...

    Two Deck Snafu

This would be a great way to find out what your players (who don’t already have a preference) think about bridge vs. poker size decks.

    Poker vs Bridge Size

i find this ironic in a thread about bridge vs poker size where you're vehemently taking a stance on one side

    Bridge vs. Poker Size

Strange aspect of bridge vs. poker size discussion is a fact that cards made in same stock will feel stiffer when bridge size and more flexy when poker size. This few milimiters of material makes a lot of difference.

    Faded Spade Cards

Bridge vs Poker is the width of the cards. Regular, Blackjack, Jumbo etc is the size of the font (there’s a few other alternatives as well):

    Bridge vs. Poker Size

What is your favorite size to play with? Best bridge options besides Copag or KEM? I am looking to get a set of bridge cards. I have always played with poker (including at the local card room I frequent), however one of my buddies picked up a set and said he will never go back. I understand...

    Poker vs Bridge Size

Poker size give Hold'em players a feeling they're holding a handful, plus they make it easier to see the board with crammed tables. For PLO+OFCP I prefer bridge but don't care much. Wish 4-color become the norm, just like Color vs B&W TV.

    COMING SOON: Classic Tapestry Kickstarter

I lost track of the Bridge vs Poker size discussion. My understanding is that the $16K+ in pledges includes both Bridge and Poker, but the significant majority are looking for Bridge size cards. If those wanting poker size pull their orders, does the campaign officially go under $16K again...

    Bridge vs. Poker Size

I'm sure a structural engineer could explain it to a lay person.

    COMING SOON: Classic Tapestry Kickstarter

Why would those wanting poker size pull their orders now that the campaign is met? Any more than someone with a bridge size order would want to pull out?

    COMING SOON: Classic Tapestry Kickstarter

I think with the 16k goal met, everybody gets what everybody wants. That was my interpretation.

    COMING SOON: Classic Tapestry Kickstarter

I wish there was a running count of how many bridge vs poker size orders are pledged and potentially to be made. My 50 setup pledge (potentially 100 setups) is all bridge, with strong preference for all 4 colors being made.

    COMING SOON: Classic Tapestry Kickstarter

My understanding is the kickstarter was to be able to make both sizes so no one should be pulling out.

    Poker vs Bridge Size

Most of us here prefer games with 4 hole cards minimum. If you're a NLH player then God help you. Even so, bridge sized is standard everywhere. That said, you can use whatever you want for your home game, but don't pretend like poker sized cards are the norm. Bridge vs. poker sized has...

Copag poker size vs bridge size what are your opinions?

That’d still be people’s personal preferences, just solely on COPAGs. They are cheap, I’d roll the dice and find out for myself.

    Bridge vs. Poker Size

It is funny, i think if you just play the game size starts to be natural no matter what unless you have a huge hand size. Because you're physically holding more material, but typeface/index is more important because your brain notices that more than hand feel. And holding 10 jumbo index cards is...

    Card Preferences

These suggestions and notes are awesome! Thank you for the detailed response. I like the note about poker vs bridge, and I definitely would prefer the poker size (and probably jumbo) sizing. I'll also check out those other ones you listed. Some variety will be good for our group.

What design of cards should we make next?

IMO. Likely need a survey in terms of priorities, as those that are happy can be silent (e.g. me) and those that want changes voices are more seen. Question thoughts: More back colors of existing designs Bridge vs Poker More back art 4 color vs 2 color Adjustments to font colors (e.g. lighter...
