This is so helpful and interesting. I bought a bunch of samples and I like them all so I'm not any closer to deciding on a particular one. Now I'm just fascinated with how much knowledge you all have on chips. I can see why people own multiple sets. .

    Card size

I didn't deal casino, but I was a dealer in a card room - 3-4 hours, more on weekends. Since I've switched to bridge size for my home game, I've noticed I have a much harder time getting a corner riffle shuffle vs. poker size. My corner riffle is much faster that a full short-edge riffle, so I...

Copags - do they often get warped (bowed?)

All of mine are bridge sized, so poker versus bridge might make a difference.

    Shuffletech ST-100 Review

Only needing to reset the machine 3 times in an eight hour session, especially using the 7 button all the time, IMHO is pretty damn good. I would probably attribute the small jams to the bridge size vs the card brand, I use poker sized Fourniers in my shuffle-tech all the time and they seem to...

Not a fan of Copaq either, but they've worked the best so far. Love Fourniers, will give them a shot next time

Couple of questions on Modia(no!) decks

@CdnBeerLover : After reading that '14 thread, I went and checked Club Poker bridge size vs poker size. Definitely bold font on the poker size vs thinner font on the bridge. It seems the pips are a bit different as well. On the poker size, the spade is the fat italian one and on the bridge, it...

Copags - do they often get warped (bowed?)

I went and dug out the two setups I've used the most, a standard red/blue 1546 and their black/red WSOP 2016, that I've been switching between for years, and no bowing. Haven't used them recently because I've been using the WSOP 2012 Fourniers and green/burgundy Bicycle Prestiges in the last...

Copags - do they often get warped (bowed?)

So, I never used any of the WSOP cards, just the standard Black and Gold two deck setups. Bought 20 of them for our game for a few years. All of them for retired for Bowing, but I got plenty of games out of them.

    Card size

I think that might just be a muscle memory thing for you. I do a standard riffle riffle strip riffle cut procedure. The riffle is a corner riffle. Very little flex to the cards, and almost no sound made. Yep. The cards took a beating last night. When new, they actually looked really nice, and...

    Sold Bicycle Prestige Playing Cards

I have WSOP 2012 cards by Fournier that @surfik mentioned above. Do you think these will feel/play just like those (bridge vs. poker sizing aside)? Interested in checking these Bicycle Prestige cards out, but already have 4 setups of the WSOP Fourniers...

Poker Card:Poker Size or Bridge Size ?

At the moment, I like poker size, jumbo index. Im a blind son of a bitch these days, so I really need the larger index size. When I go to a card room, and they have standard index bridge-sized cards, I sit across from the dealer, or suffer from barely being able to read the board. I dont like...

    Playing Cards preference

I think the consensus is Desjgn, sold by the PCF vendor @desjgn. Those are my favorites too, but I can only really compare with copag. For games with more than 2 cards, like for example Omaha, bridge size are more practical. For holdem there is no consensus here, although I prefer poker size...
