    Plastic vs. Regular?

So if you’re referring to the photo it was to show the difference in card size, not the index size.

    Demystifying Faded Spade 3.0

I’m still curious what they would charge for a minimum run of setups. The design would be the same except for the back color, which is like a 15-second switch, so I don’t know if they’d insist on two full orders. As far as consensus goes, it is obviously going to be impossible to get all on the...

    Poker vs Bridge Size

I was solidly in this camp until nearly all of our player's eyes (including mine) grew old. So now it's bridge size jumbo index -- a minor concession to hand safety vs being able to better distinguish cards at a distance. Still prefer bridge size standard index for heads-up play. Bridge size...

    Plastic vs. Regular?

I don’t think you’re a heathen. If you’re more comfortable holding poker size, fine for you. I’ve always leaned toward bridge, but one thing I’ve learned over the years of playing with both sizes is that bridge vs poker is the dumbest debate on PCF (outside of the hot dog sandwich issue.)

Interest Statesman Poker Size Jumbo index. 4 colours

Not yet. I put the feelers out previously but not enough interest for a 2000 deck run.

    Plastic vs. Regular?

Well, in my book, hot dogs are sandwiches. Oops! Wrong thread. My sweet spot is plastic bridge-size cards with jumbo index, and a round table. Because circus games.

    Plastic vs. Regular?

So poker size cards are better … if you have a shuffler as the shuffle tech boxes the bridge size cards. Bridge size are better if you have to hand shuffle or are playing 5+ card games or have tiny child size hands. If I didn’t have a shuffler I’d only use bridge, and the point I’m making to the...

Strong Horse | CPC CSQ | Cash Set (bitcoin themed)

Introducing my “Strong Horse” custom CPC set on the Circle-Square mold. Designed to handle small stakes while having some inflation protection with denominations up to $500. While I’m tickled by the inlays I must apologize for their origins as clumsy insider jargon and jokes of the Bitcoin...

    Plastic vs. Regular?

Something tells me that a guy asking the difference between plastic and "regular" probably doesn't have a shuffletech. But my reads are often way off. :cautious:

    Card Recommendations

Simple and short answer - OTHER. (Copags are garbage - they fade really fast. Kems are expensive and susceptible to warping but YMMV). Poker vs bridge is all personal preference. Desjgn are a really nice card to go with and just about everybody here likes them. I also like Broken Arrow...

    Plastic vs. Regular?

...to a dealer who's riffling over 100 times per hour. If you're passing the deal, who cares? Other than that, it's tough to make an argument of poker size vs bridge size, at least for holdem. For stud games and omaha games involving more cards, the slighlty smaller size of bridge makes sense.

I think I have a faded spade problem..

After having both poker and bridge, which do you prefer? I like poker over bridge but idk if that's just because of the bridge I have being copag. Huge fan of the FS design for sure. I made a poll on bridge vs poker size if you wanna vote in it!

    Poker vs Bridge Size

My group is getting older (this happens when the game has run for 17 years) so we are all about jumbo. I don't personally care either way about bridge vs poker. The size difference isn't really all that much IMHO. I have to get in the 4 color deck camp, though. The number of times guys have gone...

What is the main difference between poker and bridge? Is bridge narrow?

Completed Help Me Create A Premium Deck of Poker Cards!

In order of priority: Plastic - if you're producing paper cards, you're in the wrong place Index - I won't buy standard. A medium would be fine as long as all the pips are easily discernable - no 4s that look like 9s, no spades that look like clubs. I'd be interested to see if you could...

    Le Shuffler?

Makes sense. I suppose another advantage over the shuffle tech would be if it can handle bridge size cards as well as poker size (?) @francoisLS The jamming issues and continuous need for servicing (feels like one shouldn’t be a tech dummy, which I am, to comfortably own shuffle techs) along...

    Plastic vs. Regular?

I now understand your reasoning of bridge vs Poker size. Buy bridge Jumbo index (your poker size in that link are jumbo index) Comparing apples to oranges, or regular index to jumbo index is a fallacious argument. No. Also, layouts/felts get changed out every few years.

    Plastic vs. Regular?

I see. The post you linked to stated: Those two lines seem to indicate that the poker size cards are easier to read, and the photo showed poker jumbo vs bridge regular. If you want to say jumbo index is easier to read, then I agree 100%, especially in self-dealt games where the community cards...

Marion Pro & Lot Fancy - Two "sleepers", I'm impressed

I like to try new cards and decided to buy a Marion Pro ($20) and Lot Fancy ($10) setup on Amazon. I'm impressed with both brands. Marion Pro (Bridge/Jumbo) are the thickest cards I own but not overly stiff. They feel and handle pretty similar to Fournier. Texture is just about right and the...
