Wanted to add a nickel to my MGK GCR set. Sent them a chip I needed matching for and they knocked it out of the park like Yordan Alvarez. Andrea was fantastic to deal with as I made many changes while in queue. She kept me updated and provided time frames through out the whole process. Could not be happier and would not hesitate to use them again in the future.
I’ve been working with Gear for 3 years now, since I first found PCF. I was very lucky because I learned the man was only down a couple blocks from me.

I’ve made many custom chips with Gear’s help, and the results always exceed my expectations. Some of the results have been absolutely incredible. I’ve purchased different types of labels too. Some of the custom work has been above my skill level to perform, and Gear has stepped in on two occasions to help me with this. His work is outstanding.

In summary, Chris (Gear) and his wife Andrea (wifey), are amazing people, first and foremost. I’m a bit biased since I’m a local and we get to share felt together and enjoy the game we all love. That said, Chris has a penchant for all chips and all details pertaining to chips. Not going to find a nicer or smarter dude to help you with custom labels. Pure and simple.
I've used Gear Labels for various services over the years and am consistently blown away at the quality of products and service rendered. The labels he's provided are durable, accurately color-matched, and utilize fonts that are a near-exact (if not exact match) to the originals when desired. His inlay removal technique yields a fantastic surface for the new labels to adhere to, and his extensive practice with the technique means quick turnaround times. And when it comes to milling...well, several folks can offer circular milling but I don't know of anyone else that offers shapped inlay milling that's engineered to perfection. Besides the quality of services, Gear effectively acts as a design consultant with you, offering helpful guidance and suggesting possible alternatives as warranted. He's a chip nut himself with the mind of an engineer and the hands and heart of a master chip artisan; he knows what makes a quality product, and he's happy to offer those skills and insights to help you get the best possible result. I recently had a shapped inlay milling/labeling project completed by Gear and there's literally nobody else I would have trusted to get the job done. I couldn't possibly be happier with the results, and I think you'll be similarly impressed with any work he does for you. Others offer similar services, but nobody has a more complete suite of skills, services, and standard for quality results than Gear Labels has.
