My buddies in college started a weekly game in '95, it became so popular that we had to limit the players that would be invited. The original players always got an invite and were known as the varsity squad. If one of us couldn't make it we'd call someone up from J.V... So our game just became known as the "Varsity Poker" game. I had the chips made after graduation in 2000.
