What a tease.

I managed to get that 1 chip from anstossfreak to finally complete my Joliet lineup such that every denom primary/secondary is represented but sure would love to get beyond a single chip. Hopefully, out there, a rack of these babies have my name on it.

Its funny that over the last couple of months a bunch of folks at PCF were selling their Empress Joliets in a rush of activity that came reasonably close together as though the Joliets went out of fashion. And then all of a sudden, *poof*, nothing. I'm glad I got involved in some of that feeding frenzy and snagged some of the more elusive denoms.

IKR??? For several months there they seemed downright common. And now things have totally dried up. Totally regretting not jumping on a few sales. But at the time, it seemed more were getting listed every other day!

I too get lulled into a small degree of indifference about their perceived 'easy' availability during that period of heightened activity. This has to do with me already having racks of them and not feeling as much urgency as I should. Truth is they are uncommon and it just so happened folks were getting rid of their stocks at about the same time.

Contrast this to the situation with someone who is just starting to build a playable Empress set or someone gunning for denoms that they don't have, then their perspective and focus on every classified listing change dramatically.

When kmccormick100 put up a rack of those Primary 1s (of which I don't even own a single chip at the time), I went after that auction like some cougar out for some venison LOL
