Show Us Your Live Stacks (28 Viewers)

On the ropes with my seventh buyin, pulled a red king at the end and got Gift Exchange, which let me trade with the big stack on my left.

Five handed and two to my right was being super aggressive. Raising every button, squeezing from all positions, and showing a number of junk hands.

I raised UTG with KQ, UTG+1 calls, aggro shoves from the SB, I snap and UTG+1 folds. Of course THIS is when SB wakes up with AJs.

Before ($25s are T25K because we ran out of T5K!):

I put on my shove or fold pants, caught a double+ when 88 held against lots of overs, and squeaked into the money with a third place finish, shoving K2 from SB with 5bb behind and getting snapped by KT.

In for seven buys and a free add-on ($35), out for $45. Profit, baby.

This game is crazy fun every year, and one of the few tourneys I still love playing.

I’ve always liked those Jack $5s. The rest don’t do a lot for me, but I’d love to have them in a stack like that at a live game!
Agreed. Red 5s with yellow and white edges look great. If they ever rename this place to Hard Rock and those chips become available, I would love to replace my Horseshoe Cincinnati 5s with those.

In for $1900 now. Went bust in back to back hands. First hand I had QJ104 one suite. 5 of us saw a flop at $50 each. Flop was 442. I bet $250 and got jammed on for $400 more. Have to call. He has A4 of course and running 6’s don’t improve me.

Very next hand I flop Broadway with a Royal redraw vs a set of Aces. We get all in on the flop and he rivers quad Aces. Fun times.

Reload for $700 and went on a little heater.

Up a few hundred again.

The light spot on the $5 is more of a very pale pink, definitely not white. The $5 is my favorite chip in the set.

Rebuy! I was having a pretty uneventful night and picked up :8c::7c: after a limper and raise to $25, a guy whose played like 2 hands in the last 3 hours 3 bets to $70. I call with $1,200 effective.

Flop $152 :tc::7h::9c:

I check, he bet $75, I CR to $275, he makes it $600, I rip it in, he snap calls. I roll my hand over.

Turn ~$2400 :8h:

River ~$2400 :ad:

He slowly rolls over :8s::6s:

Managed to make a comeback and book a decent win. What's interesting is the casino was giving out tickets to enter into a raffle they are doing for the holidays next week which includes 1k cash, 65in. 4k TVs, WSOP-C Main event seats, etc. To get a ticket you need to make a flush or better. Tonight after 10 hours of play I got 0 tickets. Hell, I didn't even make a straight either. Just a night of getting super thin value from pairs or taking pots down without a showdown. Under these circumstances and losing that big pot earlier means that this win feels better than most.
