I don't have stacks to take a picture, but I have my sample set on my desk, and there's no way the yellow and pink are getting mixed up. They are drastically different. I think the biggest risks for dirty stacks are these combos:

red-pink
pink-purple (maybe)
red-orange are pretty close
blue-black
blue-purple (maybe)
black-green

For my tourney set I chose to change the $100 from black to white to avoid dirty stack potential with green $25 and black $100s. Plus I just liked the white chip design better.

Black 20s

The group this chip set would be used with wouldn't have too many black 20s in play at the same time. Maybe a hundred bucks or so total over the table. I'm wondering if it's not worth worrying about the possible problems with the 1s and 20s?

I don't think it would be an issue if you don't have many of the 20s in play. I've got 2 of each color handy, so here's a small comparison for you:

Yeah, I really don't picture more than a hundred bucks or so in black to be in play at any one time. I had to fight for .50/.50 instead of .25/.50, .50/1 was crazy talk according to a few people. These guys all make good money but other than a few of us out of this group not many of them have much desire to play for more than what was lunch money in highschool most nights. It's all good, we've been friends for a long time, this game is most definitely not about the money, just a good time.

Yeah I'm pretty sure one dude would start making Instagram posts if he had a 20 in his stack, he's not much of a gambler.

I’m going to be adding one rack of orange 0.50s to add to my Cali set. Perfect color for that denom

I'm a Cali color person that's for sure. West Side is the Best Side.

What did you go with for your set? Strict Cali colors for all? I don't even know what those would be. Lol is there a standard?

Yeah, same here. A few of my buddies from the neighborhood who were considered criminals right out of highschool in the late 90s are now killing it more than most with brick and mortar stores and their own damn strains. I always knew it would flip concerning the laws, it just staggers me that it happened so quickly west of the Rockies. Crazy.

Anyway.

Oh yeah, Definitely not for a @BGinGA approved structure. Garage game that has been doing turbo T13000 tourneys for years. Starting stack is 10-200s, 6-1000s, 1-5000.
structure is something like
200-200
200-400
400-400
400-800 end re-buys
600-1200
800-1600
1000-2000 remove 200s
2000-4000
3000-6000
etc........
was really taken aback when i first started playing, actually runs pretty smoothly for them so @Vince Bustillo and i are slowly introducing nicer cards, actual cut cards, nicer dealer buttons, and finally some non-dice chips.......
fun little game that has a 8-15 players every Wednesday night, 1st tourney runs from 730 to 1030ish, 2nd tourney with less players finishes around midnight.

Say I want to make a dealer button (the one with the skull on the table) a bounty, and say the pink a "re-buy" chip. Is that possible?

I did my tourney set all 43mm, I’d recommend it.
