Results: in for $1500 at the BigO, out for $524. There was some money to be made, but I had two brain farts which I normally don't have, and bricked a bunch of combos draws in big pots. One brain fart I got quartered with the wheel when the other person had a46xx on a 235 board, the other got it in with three pair on a flop against top set like an idiot. But the big losses were other people fading nut flush/nut low draws against me all night.

Then I got a text from MikesDad "seat open" and sat drown to play 1/2 with him and Krafty. (Eventually my brother Kirchhausen joins us) Doubled up on the third hand, and made some good reads, played well, and ran well for the most part. In for $300 out for $1177 for a total of $1401 on a $1500 buy in. Tipped the cashier a buck, and said to myself "you know what, I've grinded my way back, but I'm not even yet. Let's play some freaking blackjack."

Sit down at an empty table with a friendly dealer (for one hand before some rando sits down) and I win two double downs on $25 bets and then one $25 bet in succession. I tip the kindly dealer $5 and I'm on my way home up $20 for all my troubles. It was a fun night.

What nights does the BigO8 run? What are the buy-ins? Anyone want to meet up for a meal or some table time while I'm there? Super fishy player pool?

I really would like to play some casino BigO.

Looks like I'm out for october. The govt new fiscal year starts oct 1st, and it's unknown how long it'll be until the contract new year garbage is resolved. :-(
