Since pictures are worth a thousand words, we'll start with those:

These chips really need no introduction. Everybody knows the story. For all the newer members who don't know what these chips are about, there are many many threads out there, both discussion and pr0n.

I am looking to sell these chips at my acquisition cost, no real profit, no real loss. Great opportunity for a newer chipper who likes tournaments. I am also going to the (unprecedented?) length to declare my actual costs for these chips for full transparency. I used these chips to park my cash, nothing more, and though I didn't get most of these chips at the original Chip Room sale prices, I did get a reasonable enough deal that any person wanting a new set or to add on to their own set would have a good reason to consider buying these.

These are the chip breakdowns with my costs:

205 x $5GO @$2.00 = $410
205 x $25GO @1.30 = $266.50
150 x $100Sec @ $2.00 = $300
50 x $500Sec @4.50 = $225
20 x $1000Pri @13.00 = $260
20 x Orleans $1 @1.50 = $30 (for use as Bounties - Metallic Silver with the Boyd house mold)
2 x Dealer Buttons $2.75 = $5.50
7 x 43mm Racks @4.00 = $28

Total = $1525 for everything above, and then add shipping (at Canada post prices, from me to you, anywhere in the world, at actual cost; insurance optional). PPFF, or add 3.5% for PPGS.

This breakdown is good for a 20-person T2K tournament with a few rebuys or top-ups, or perhaps a T3K freeze out. Add further 1Ks as needed to accommodate more rebuys.

I will consider splitting the set in half to go to two different chippers who only want a 1TT set-up each (but preference will go to a single buyer for all). If it's split in half, the first purchaser will get the extra $5GO and $25GO, and each will get 4x 43mm racks so split cost will be $765 for a whopping $1 profit for me. Shipping will be on top, of course, You can fight over who gets which dealer button.

These will not be split further. If a group wants to split this set in strange ways, and all chips are accounted for, then I suggest one person buy the entire set and receive it, and redistribute as necessary - it may end up being cheaper this way anyway depending on where all final shipping destinations are.

Feel free to ask any questions in the thread. Check out my feedback, and buy with confidence.

It's sad but true. New members should be directed here to get a heck of a deal on incredible Jack Detroit chips. But perhaps they have not yet heard of Jack.
Its partly my fault. I've been telling new members here to stay away from Jack Detroit for their and their wallet's own good.

Unless they are scrub donkeys who pay top dollar for auctioned fracs and the like (oh, never mind... that was me... yesterday), I'd say Jack's are actually quite reasonable on the wallet. Many of these chips can still be had mint uncirculated for $2 a pop (or less). I've bought plenty of chips for more that I don't like nearly as much! Just sayin'!

I feel the same way. They are expensive as hell, but not when compared to other mint Paulsons out there...SB...AS...and EST sets are jaw dropping for price. Can't even dream of BTP...for that matter...I think Jacks are a great deal. I agree @Steppenwolf about having mint uncirculated casino RHC Paulsons for these prices...amazing !!! For a newbie...getting mint Paulsons is like a Ferrari for a learner...

I was very VERY close to buy this very set from @allforcharity . We play in a group sometimes. I just discovered that I am more of a primary fanatic than secondary and can't afford the two sets. I tried...but I failed financially.

I love my SoCal crew, but man it would be fun to play with you BC boys. What a group of awesome chippers you have up there!

They sure are enticing! Mint condition, you say...
Dam straight! I was in line to get these, until I developed a thing for mostly Primary Jacks, but these chips are brand new. I personally quite like the 'GO' chips, especially the $5s.
Sold in 53 seconds? :p
Good grief! Wonder what the Black Friday pitch was and why not just sell more today..feed the hunger that is clearly present...

Maybe there are more chips coming so the jacks will get more eyes to those as well come Black Friday?

I don't get why people have been complaining about the limited availability of chips from Chiproom while not snap buying sets like this one that has been up for a while. Very good prices and breakdowns.

I agree. I personally wasn't complaining as I've snap bought plenty of Jacks.

I just don't see the sense in "throttling" the release. But I'm new and stupid.

I've made a few Chiproom purchases. I love to shop with them for sure.

Id say this set in particular maybe doesn't have the particular combination of chips people most want is my guess at why it sits.

There are valuations for the denoms...split it up and see how long it sits here...

My comment was definitely not directed at you Nav. I just saw a few comments on the Chiproom thread and wondered why no action on this one. Just a little confused.
