I think that T10k set has a solid breakdown for a 400 chip STT for 10 players 12/12/5/6 with 7 rebuys (15 of the 1ks are used to colour up the 25s and 100s).

You can even do a 12 person tourney with starting stacks of 8/8/4/7 (8/8/6/6 for the 12th man) and 5 rebuys (12 of the 1ks are used to colour up the 25s and 100s).

The only slight niggle is that the set is 290 39mm chips and 110 43mm chips but taking away any of the 43mm to add 39mm chips to fill out a rack adds chips that you won't use so is pointless. This set actually has the minimum 39mm chips required for a nice 12/12/5/6 STT with all the rest being lovely 43mm. If you need more rebuys then either play 5k or 8k starting stacks or find more 5ks!

I had @ChaosRock do the breakdown. Maybe he will weigh in.

Minimum for a 10 player T10K with a good number of lower denoms (and equal number of starting chips) would be 120/120/50/60. That last set has 120/120/50/100/10. Not sure can it couldn't handle the a 10 person game plus rebuys and color-ups. @JeepologyOffroad, your math might be off.

Thanks Paulo. My calculator may be wrong. I was calculating not coloring up 500 and then it seems you would only need a few more 1k or 5k and it would cover single rebuys.

Looking for somebody interested in 50 Primary $500s if I am able to score a set. PM if you’re interested.

Easiest way to verify is to see how much you have in the denoms you'll want to finish the tourney with. Let's say in this particular case it's the T1Ks and T5Ks. Those two chips add up to 150K, so 15 buy-ins (after color-ups since the other chips are off the table already.) One could even argue the set could work with less T1Ks and more T5Ks as all the color-ups and re-buys could be done with T5Ks only. I think having a bit more T1ks is a bit better for flexibility though.

Ok good line of thinking. Thanks. So as is, leave the 500 in play and it will support 10 players plus 7 rebuys max

Jim, are individual chips going to be on sale ever again outside of what's available now, or just in sets?

Regardless of if the individual chips will ever go on sale again, it's such a shame that my set is going to be all but completed before this sale goes live. The high denom tournament sets are too rich for my blood You guys enjoy this one!

2/5 would be better. Brand new paulsons tho, dayumn

A 2/5 set would definitely be cheaper to build with these chips. Those 5s cost more then 25s and 100s if you have to purchase more! At least from the going price for 5s which I've seen in the classified section.

Oh boy, here we go again. Get ready, wallet.
My wallet is ready...is my internet connection? How many sets are available I wonder? Will my computer freeze?...Will I have to do bathroom business right at the time...so many things to worry about

I really am not computer savvy...wish I could just call a hotline and give my credit card #
