I was also curious about this very thing. Box may have been weak at the corner to begin with. It certainly looks like someone or something ripped a perfect piece right out of it as a means of access...

But he got his stuff. Albeit short a chip...
 
Double-boxed (or reinforced corners on the inside, at a minimum) plus 100% taped on the outside makes that kind of damage very unlikely. Was that package sent from a PCF chipper?

I’m not wanting to call out the shipper. They immediately offered to replace the broken chip without hesitation. No harm, no foul.

When people at your employment cant do their jobs over the weekend so your Monday turns into a shit show and cleaning up everyone else's messes so you can do your job, and you dont even get paid enough to feel ok about it, so your just grumpy as hell
