For sale:

2 racks of $1 chips from the Atlantic City Hard Rock.

@Lil Tuna harvested these on opening day. There are only 6 known racks of these in uncirculated condition. Here are 2 of them!
Paulsons on a house mold, bright white, sweet chips!

Price is $500 shipped in US. I'd like to keep them together. But would split if both racks are spoken for, $260/rack shipped.

These just can’t go to eBay!! Nobody wants these beauties??

Reduced to $250/rack, shipped. Or $730 takes all 3.

This is a great opportunity to own a mint rack or 2 of these beauties! Only 6 mint racks of these were harvested opening day 6/28/18.
There is NO poker room at HR Atlantic City and you CAN’T buy chips at the cage.
All chips were harvested from the dealers at the tables.
Two racks of these beauties are played regularly in @Seeking Alpha Social Club.
Kevin has a real nice mixed set he has put together!
Here’s a little prOn for your enjoyment.

I'm looking for Sioux Cities myself, other wise I'd take em.
I’ve never seen any of those except in pictures, nice looking chip.
You wouldn’t be disappointed if you picked these up, still chalky and razor sharp.

how can you say only 6 known mint racks, I'm sure there are others out there , plus more at the cage right ??

Hi @ovo,
I was the PCF member who harvested those 6 racks. What I can tell you about Hard Rock AC is this, there is no card room and you CANT buy chips at the cage.
Hard Rock AC makes you buy your chips at the tables and asks you in turn to chip back up from them at the table when your finished.
They will chip you up to a higher denomination chip that you then in turn take to the cage for cash.
Those things being said, unless there was another PCF member at the Hard Rock AC at 11am Thursday June 28th 2018 who was also on a harvesting mission as I was, no one here on PCF that I know of has claimed to have mint racks of these $1s.
Other than some stragglers you’ll find on EBay from some random person who may have been there that day and walked out with a few in their pocket, these 6 racks are the only known ones to have made it out.
There is one other source who possibly has a rack but only sells singles on his website.
That person is Ricky Pushkin at All_Chips.com
They are for sale as singles on his site but I have no idea how many he has or doesn’t.
I also harvested a rack for @Irish a few months ago for a project he was working on.
Those chips were not mint, about 8 months or so circulated. Still in pretty decent condition, dirty but not bad. They cleaned up pretty well from the pictures I saw.
Getting those chips out of there was a huge task. I stuck 5 or so at a time in my pockets till they were full. I then in turn walked to my car in the garage and emptied my pockets into a backpack I was putting the chips in.
It took me and a friend about 5 trips to the garage and about 8 hours in total to complete the task.
This place does not like you walking away from their tables with the lower denominations, several times I walked away with singles to the sounds of “Sir” “Sir” “you have to sell those back to me”
Would just keep moving and disappear into the crowd. Then I’d have to try and get more in another section of the casino fearing I was being looked for where I had just been.
I was spotted on 2 occasions putting chips in my pocket by craps dealers and they in turn told the pit boss. Both times the pit boss seemed to just act like he had other things to worry about.
Anyway if there are other mint racks out there, I’d sure like to hear how they got out, maybe I could learn something and hone my skills a bit. LOL
2 mint racks are in the possession of @Seeking Alpha Social Club.
2 mint racks are in the possession of @liftapint
and I’m in possession of the other 2.
@Irish has a rack that is circulated but in pretty nice condition.
These chips are SWEET! Hands down beautiful in person! Pick yourself up a rack and see for yourself, you won’t be disappointed.

+++1 this ^^^^

Matt and his buddy went through a day of HELL getting us a few racks!! I only know of these being harvested mint. If others exist, I haven't seen them.

great info, my only point is, there were a lot of these dollars made, so anything is possible with respect to other mint racks out in the wild

You’ve actually raised my curiosity a bit on this subject. I’m going to try and contact Ricky Pushkin and find out just how many of these he has.
I’ve done a little business with him in the past, I think he’d share his info with me on this.
He’s been harvesting chips from Atlantic City for many years.
Other than him, the only other way I see a rack getting out of there would be if an employee of Hard Rock grabbed some that day.
So it could be possible yes but I’m thinking very unlikely.
You definitely got my gears churning thinking about it though.
Will let you know if and when I find out.
