On the not so bright side, wait a week or two and you'll see alot of classified ads selling all of the chips in this sale being flipped for 10 times the price.

I asked for the totals 3 hours after the sale had started. Swiping those was just a dick move. If you ask me. I can understand if he just started the sale then fine.
Other people are trying to do the same thing. Just cause he released the numbers in reply to your query doesn’t mean you have the right to those chips. Next time PM him if you don’t want people to react to public information.

I agree - but this site has a very high population of greedy chip hoarders so it's not surprising. Hopefully Jim has another casino haul in the very near future.

Also, what does 'how to run a railroad' mean? Either I'm way too old or way too young to understand this. I've never heard of this saying.

It’s sad that we have to populate a great sale thread like this with speculation and negativity.
I didn’t get what I initially wanted, but I wish the best to those that did! Even as a newer chipper I understand and recognize the lengths Jim has gone to in attempts of ensuring a semblance of fairness.
@Fishmonger, humility and patience will go a long way if you choose to stick around. Your comments and number of messages indicate you probably don’t quite understand how everything here works, and that’s okay.
I’ll share that on my end, I actually sat there for a couple minutes after Jim answered you. Then I went to see if I could get some of what may be useful for me, and shared what I took. I didn’t have to do either of those things. The only value add comments you might make are:

@Fishmonger please take his advice. People will bend over backwards for strangers on here but in things like this sale it’s pretty much a free-for-all every time.

I’m all or nothing. I only have two modes: articulate and empathetic, or beating a dead horse out back with Josh Kifer. Try to lean towards the former. Sometimes.

Its cool. Just disappointed. I know Jim probably goes through more trouble than anything to get us these chips, or you guys, I didnt get any. Not bitter. I like this community. Some people have helped me out and I appreciate that. Me being new and a total stranger to them. I had grand plans to have real roulette set of chips before the sale started but now I have 0 roulette chips. Lol. I was in roadhouse sale and got what I wanted and guess I was lucky. Just not this time. Enjoy your chips everyone. Many casinos will fall.

I get it. It's never fun to get a goal and it kinda totally fall apart. If there is one thing I know, put out what your looking for and you'll most likely get a PM with exactly what ya want with sometimes no mark up. People overbuy here.
