First mixed set. (Now what) (1 Viewer)

Here’s some pics of my 1st mixed set I put together over the past month or so. (Another 90 sams towns on the way)

My original plan was to relabel everything with a custom label. But I hate to touch the sams towns so now idk what I want to do. Should I relabel the Jerry’s and AS snappers. (Snappers as 5s. Jerry’s as 100s)

Since you've got a more traditional Nevada color scheme going and not Cali colors @BHK25, I'd personally hunt down some black hundos (just my 2 cents). But yeah I agree with you, I would not touch the Sam's Town $1s.
If and when you get the snappers relabeled as $5 chips, those things will be Fire. After that, why invest more into relabeling unless you truly wanted a custom set? It is a "mixed" cash set after all right...

Those snappers as 5s will be insane. I agree with above. Find a black 100 and don't relabel anything else.

I’ll offer an alternative perspective. Mill those Sam’s Town and relabel the whole set. That chip looks amazing after you get rid of the hot stamp.

And the chip is still in play and plenty of newer chips remain available for anyone that wants to keep the hot stamps in tact. I say murder. You’ll be happier in the end.

Or, now that I see the entire lineup, you might consider swapping out the Sam's town chip for a paris $1. The Paris spots may match your spot progression a bit better....

I thought the exact same, but I think he loves Sam's town dollars almost as much as I do.

I just finished flattening them. I gotta admit, I liked them a lot less when going through that tedious process. But now that they are flat, I am starting to like them again.

I'm still undecided on the Sams Town murder. It'll prolly be a last minute decision when Gear messages me. I am leaning towards black 100s now. I want something bright though.

Here's a Mockup of the labels I was thinking about. Except insert the AS snappers for the AS 5's. Need a black 100 that would fit that label well. Still may go with the Jerrys 1 as the 100. Just not sure. Luckily I have plenty of time to decide since gear is so busy. I just worry that labeling over the AS would decrease value in the event that I wanted to sell one day.

Personally, at this point the only chip I’d keep are the Sam’s town and maybe the Aztars. I don’t think the AS chip works at all in this line up and you’ll have 2 18 chips in a row(618–>818), and I’ve never been a big fan of the doo doo brown on white base Jerry’s golden nugget chips.

If you’re patient you can build a set where the colors and spots work much better than what you have now IMO

I like this idea the best personally too, but those AS are beauties for sure. Sam's are not an easy one to build a set around in regards to both colors and spot progression - easier with relabeling. Lot's of amazing choices too if you sell those AS and leave it mixed. Some of my favorite choices for red 5s with Sam's 1. Or my personal favorite to go with them would be the AS 5s. I think those are perfect.

I just like the idea of a bright $5 hence the pink. Obviously bourbon 5s would be great but that'll never ever ever happen unless I win the lottery.

Right. I should have clarified. Hot stamped as 5s and 20s lol. Can't wait to see them labeled.

Yellow was $1. Milled is much better on those. I don't miss them, just miss the black and pink.
