Hmm stay out of this or add my thoughts... oh well... so what is the issue here... obviously GPI would rather make larger quantities of chips so a larger group buy would be in their interest. If you're going to break your own company's rules why not go big! The obvious answer is they don't want the publicity... advise me if I'm wrong but each time these sets are made extras are ordered and listed with a considerable mark up to cover some of the initial cost, design work... whatever the case maybe. I hope it is not simply out of greed and lining pockets with other members money simply because they went part of the established long term groups that understandably form over time... but once the chips are made some will be posted for sale and all hell breaks loose, several conversations of I'm contacting GPI and getting my own set made... how does a small forum group complaining about the issue affect authenticity of GPI? Not much at all but several phone calls/ emails contacting saying I know you did this or we want in! Seems like bad publicity to me... now one organized massive group buy = everybody happy, no bad press... why this cant happen not sure... but I give credit to whomever is pulling the strings and getting new chips out into the community and hope that someday we all get the opportunity to join one of those orders so that we aren't stuck paying double or more in some cases that what those chips were purchased for. I am a new guy, I love PCF and would love to see a group buy of brand new Paulson chips inspired by the forum and representing this great community! I would also totally be down to purchase some scrub donkeys if that ever happened as well! I did not write this for thread crapping, just my thoughts fingers crossed maybe one day someone actually makes it a legitimate group buy. Fellow chipper Ben

Would love to know why you think that, has any group that has actually tried failed? Cats out of the bag and with the amount of people trying, some will get through.

Funny, because of the amount of people trying I don’t think they’ll gain any traction. Could be wrong *shrug*
