Has anyone relabeled CPC chips? Is it possible to label over or replace the labels? Love the base chips and the labels, but I would want to make them my own.

And they’re pretty thick labels so I would imagine you could put anything in its place. I wouldn’t go over top of the label though cause I think the current labels are flush with the chip.

Might be better off just having new chips made in that case.. labels are nice but they don’t compare to real inlays

Very easy to pop out the existing label

That's generally true...

... and that's only half true. :p :)

Occasionally CPC labels (especially older ones, for some reason) don't seem to adhere properly to the chip, and you get kind of a Snapple-lid effect. These "bubbled" inlays can cause stacking/racking issues. I'm not saying they're no good; I'm just saying they could occasionally be better (which is also true with labels!) Replacing one or two or five of the egregious ones might be worth considering.

Replacing an entire set of inlays with labels can be a great way to go, and is FAR less costly than ordering new chips. However if you're adding onto an existing set, such as this one, then yeah, ordering fresh chips will match up the best.

EDIT: removed unnecessary editorializing

Sorry to threadjack  :whistling:, have you by chance seen my PM inquiring on some labels good sir? Thanks for the help in advance, I don't want to bombard you with PM's as I know you're very busy.

As always, reasonable offers are considered. Would really like to see these go to make way for another project :-).

SAD DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Haha, not really mate, but thanks :-).

But what are you going to use your new design chips for....
Not doing a new design :-)

Have so many other projects at the moment that I am literally running out of time :-) These are a great set and would cost over $2,000USD if ordered right now. Plus its FREE shipping anywhere - like, um, the UK where they use Pounds ;-).
