This is a quick mockup. Not sure if it's anybody's itch but this is a quicky. I'm going to do much more refining and I'm looking for some input as to what some would like to see.

JACK Button Starodd.jpg

I have a few ideas that will incorporate a very faint "jack" picture like the j of diamonds or spades in the background. But I won't be at this again until Friday morning.

Steve.

Following because I’m in for whatever the design ends up being, so thanks for putting it together!

My initial thoughts are a clean and simple black and white design would be my preferred choice, given the inlays on the chips, but like I said I’m down for whatever.

Haha. Lots of "in's" but no "input".
I'll make a few iterations, a black, a white and something in between and whittle down a couple options. I know everybody has a thing for black buttons. ;)

Lots of people ordered these chips and are looking for a quick supply of buttons. I am sure there will be several different iterations in the future, but getting some quickly in people's hands and on their felt is probably one reason behind "Lots of "in's" but no "input""...

I am also "in"..I wish I could have one for the game this weekend :nailbite:

P.S. The button does look pretty cool.

Personally I would like a clean black button with dealer in a different colour and maybe the four suits around the rolling edge?

But as mentioned by others I would be ok with most design choices.

(In for 2 at least)

Not a fan of the red/green. (Just giving input)

Detroit is the Motor City and I aways wanted to try to incorporate a tire and or wheel in some sort of Detroit related design. Not sure if it would work in this case but I figured there is no harm in mentioning it.

I liked the design as it is Steve! Maybe pull some colors from the chips? I like the idea above about a tire? Maybe a suicide jack?

I’m not buying one so take my input for that. Not sure what the point of the dots on the outside are. I know you’re using the inlay are a guide but think the Detroit, MI on the bottom is unnecessary.

It is also Motown (which is from Motor Town) and was thinking of something auto related but that’s starting to get more personalized. Like if you used the Tigers D. Almost too much history to start picking one theme over another. Point is a car guy would like that, a music guy would like to incorporate that theme, a sports guy would appreciate the pro sports tie ins.

Agreed, that's why I was saying I don't know if it would work here. Especially because the Jack inlays don't incorporate anything car related therefore a button with a wheel/tire on it might not go very well with the set.
